IMO, You have totally nailed it! Gyp is SO good at playing the victim. I think DD did EVERYTHING she could for Gyp. Scamming charities, churches, etc is never right. However, DD believed she was doing what she had to, to provide the best life for Gyp. Not herself, but Gyp. Gyp had a mother's unconditional love, but all she can do is decimate DD's memory. @@itsrinda1 i’m going to make another video about the scamming, but I think gypsies’s role in the scamming was much larger than she portrays because on her Facebook you can tell the difference when gypsy is typing and when Didi is typing because gypsy did not know how to spell, and so when you look at some of the messages, you can see the misspellings and my theory is that is gypsy texting and when you see things spelled correctly and not in uppercase that is DD typing. So I I think gypsy was pretending to be her mother online to scam the charities as DD like she basically stole her identity.
If you look closely at Gypsys face in that clip, she stifles a smile when recalling her mother saying to not hurt her. Its not super obvious unless you are paying attention. It gave me chills when I noticed....shes a creepy chick

I think DeeDee had her door off because Gypsy was sneaky and Gypsy probably would shut her mother's door to sneak around. So DeeDee just took it off so that Gypsy couldn't be a little hoe. My other theory is that maybe DeeDee ran from Gypsy before and tried to shut the door, and maybe Gypsy started hitting her door, and there was a hole or damage to the door. Very interesting, nonetheless.

I did wonder if the door had just been taken down by the police to make it easier to bring Dee Dee out. Apparently some of the police photos were taken after some things had already been moved, which shouldn’t happen, but I just wondered if the door was one example. I believe in one of David Blanchards’s versions of events (he seems to have several different ones) he said he didn’t open the door to Dee Dee’s room and implied it was closed.
Agree 💯 we all have narcissistic tendencies in us, we work on ourselves, I had the best teacher growing up, my abuser was the best narcissist. I made sure I worked on me, went to therapy, counselling sessions every week, and learned that it was not my fault, and today I wouldn’t treat anyone badly, I live everyone, and forgiveness was a big part of changing. Yes when I heard that I was like Gypsy Hurt her mother. I knew it right there. I feel Gypsy & Dan killed DD, Nick had arrived after DD was already gone. So sad.😢 Gypsy had the say , and ran her mother and that household. That’s crazy colouring her potato’s, Gypsy wanted attention. DD was a good mother, poor DD was sick, and Gypsy didn’t want to look after her anymore, and DD still took her to the Dr’s. I feel horrible for DD, she has NO voice, but you are giving her a voice. But one thing I did notice in the crime scene photos, I think most of the doors in their house slid side to side into the wall instead of open/shut because of the wheelchair. So it only looked like there was no door because it was slid open at the time of the photos

I've never understood people who enjoy the attention they receive from being sick. I got sick and almost died as a baby, and for my entire childhood, my mom would bring it up often, and all it ever did was embarrass me. I always understood that it was coming from a place of concern, but it just made me feel exposed, and I didn’t like it. I don’t even like going to the doctor, and I will only do so in extreme situations, and even then, I don't make a fuss over it, or plaster my business all over social media to garner sympathy.

@@logic7753 yes the taking of the door off the hinges is absolutely a controlling tactic. When I was rebelling as a teenager, my mother also took my door off of the hinges. Which was a tough for me, considering she was trying to keep an eye on everything that I was doing, however she was a drunk and like always had parties and stuff so me not having a door while her and her friends are actively getting drunk and getting high in the living room. I could hear everythingso I was being punished in more ways than one by not having the door.

I knew Dee Dee. She was a grifter but she didn't have a mean bone in her body. Everything she grifted, she gave away to her daughter or other kids in the neighbourhood.
As a mum, I can understand her wanting to give her daughter everything. I don't agree with the fraud but I understand her reasoning behind it.

DeeDee was a manipulator, though, too. Rod's mom recalls DD checking out a library book about how to get pregnant before she got pregnant by Rod. She always tried to get free or discounted stuff wherever they went. DeeDee and her mother were also shoplifters, according to her family.

It's off topic but is the door thing common? My stepfather was a monster. I Literally got my door taken away freshman year and never for it back.
@@logic7753 yes the taking of the door off the hinges is absolutely a controlling tactic. When I was rebelling as a teenager, my mother also took my door off of the hinges. Which was a tough for me, considering she was trying to keep an eye on everything that I was doing, however she was a drunk and like always had parties and stuff so me not having a door while her and her friends are actively getting drunk and getting high in the living room. I could hear everythingso I was being punished in more ways than one by not having the door.
