We have a saying in my country. The man that can spend time in the craft he loves, is a happy man living a good life. I love the work on your videos and the dedication to it, even though i am not interested in following your craft or even interested in the cars themselves, i love seeing a master of an art exercising his skills. The only thing i'd like to see is more shots from you actually painting the parts like the grill, the body or just sanding them, instead of skipping. It adds up to the anticipation of the outcome and it's oddly satisfying!
Zinc plating has improved your craft significantly, and you were already extremely skilled. This moves your restorations into the stratosphere for collectors who want the perfect restoration and will pay big money to have it done right. Well done!
I have my father's 31' Woody. It's in magenta and it's almost mint condition. The reason it's in such good shape right now is because it wasn't a good car to use in superchargers.. So he ended up letting it sit on his shelf. Now it's the prize amongst my 60+ redline collection!
What you said at the end about the more effort you put in, the better you become, is a life lesson that a lot of people just shrug off and never truly learn. Most people's 'hobbies' are playing video games these days, nothing truly technical or mechanical something like this. It shows you've truly learned a lot, these videos get better and better every time. Thanks again!
You did a great job on matching the paint to the untouched original one. That's why i subscribed to you. Your videos are So enjoyable to watch. Keep up the awesome content bro.
Love that you include the "behind-the-scenes" stuff and talk in detail about some of the processes you go through. Excellent work and another great video!
I have an old 65 impala that me and my dad found metal detecting and it's missing a wheel alot of paint bent Axel's and really really dirty I'd really like it if I could send it to you seeing how good you are at restoring hot wheels
Beautifully done sir. Wow, just an amazing transforming restoration. Your video's are always done with such an incredible degree of professionalism. Best and most comprehensive restoration video's out there. Great work!
My dad and my aunts bought me all of the original Hot Wheels from the beginning up to about 1972, when I got into model cars. Man I wish I had them back! This was one of my favorites.
I appreciate what you said about practice on your hobbie, and as you said life gets in the way. I have a small child and finding time to hobbie build tanks/ 40 k etc is difficult but I keep pushing on, learning the theory when and where I can from lots of sources, I find hobbyists tend to tunnel vision and not look at new options. Case in point that paint you use has qualities that others don't know about. I love your videos keep it up!
I really enjoy your videos. And, you are so right on with practicing the art we are interested in. The more we practice, the better we get. For me, it is the guitar and your words encourage me to keep practicing.
Some people need a therapist to help the. Cope with the stress of life. All they need to do is watch you delightful, thoughtful and gentle videos. You have a very calm voice and a really methodical way of working.
Nice work again demonstrated brilliantly as always, paint job looked well suited to the car and detailed great. I think everyone who comments on your page would enjoy seeing another big build or a longer videos..!! Great work. Thanks for sharing
Its been a couple of months since I discovered your channel and I love your work. I used to own some of the cars you have restored and it brings me very good memories. Thank you for sharing this videos.
Absolutely love this channel. I look forward to the new videos. I have many old HW cars that are definitely worse for wear. My daughter and I hope to restore them at some point. Thanks for the excellent instruction!
I was thinking the same but I assume even if the carded car stayed in its blister all these years it might have still deteriorated a little. The wear on the plastic blister itself might also affect how we see the car behind it as well.
it is a little bit greener then the still in package model but as was stated that ones paint would have deteriorated from time so it's understandable. all in all it's a really awesome job as are all the previous ones you've done. i could never do this as well as you do but i enjoy watching these projects thru your videos as it's educational and entertaining. keep it up.
It's funny. I have an old motorcycle that started off gold, and as the paint aged, it turned lime green. Exactly the opposite of what happened to the car in the package.
That custom came out immaculate!!! Looks even better then the original carded casting’ & yes I totally agree the more practice the better.... awesome video keep sharing your skills & work and I’ll keep viewing & commenting 😉👍🏼👍🏼
What a fantastic resto. Before you summed up at the end, I was thinking to myself, had you been at the stage you were at in your earlier videos, without the techniques you have learned and honed since, this one would not have been as straightforward - can totally get why you were intimidated previously. But what a superb end result!
Car looks great, your work and videos are outstanding! The color match looks very close, but the original car looks like it has more of a gold tinge to it. Oh and I appreciate the comment about hobbies, life and just keeping at it. So true👍
There is nothing ridiculous about “practice makes perfect.” So many of my students feel helpless and are fearful to even begin to try. You are a master. But You were not born that way. thanks for reminding your viewers how important practice is to living.
Great job, love the videos. I got back into modeling a couple of years ago and like you I can see a big difference in my how far my modeling skills have come.
Another fantastic restoration! After watching your channel from the start I feel like you are just naturally gifted at working with and restoring (and un-restoring or should I say weathering lol) the 1:64 cars we all dig so much, I also agree that a great many things take practice to get those skills perfected, and yours are definitely that. I have a cherished custom camaro that I'd like having done by an artist like yourself but I know you stay way busy. I do still have my Dairy Delivery that you rusted and weathered on display and actually showed it to a local collector friend the other day and he was commenting on how good your work was, hard to believe that was 6 years ago. Again great work bro keep them coming.
Awesome restore., I really enjoy how you have changed your skill sets and have been able to restore the cars to such a great extent. keep up the great content and humbling work,
Great work! Great words in the end! Who knew that hot wheels restoration channel video will inspire me to record my music once again after years of just playing and practicing. Thank you and keep on! Always love binge watching your channel. I guess, gotta stand by my words now... :-)
Awesome job! Seen the post on Instagram and waited patiently for this video! Love it! One note: for operations you don't explain, you should show a few seconds of the process as a transition shot. Showing a few secondss of you painting the body will transition perfectly into talking about the results of the paint job.
Mmm to be honest I'm not a big fan of hot wheels I'm a matchbox man but I'll always have a look, I've now seen several of your refurbs and they are growing on me the woodie has turned out real nice and i will be watching more Chris, (uk)
Cool turn about or turn table. I havnt seen one like that before. As usual, Great job ! A world of difference ! You really have the zinc plating process down pat. I hope to get there one day.
I've been following your channel for about a year now. You are the reason I got into HW restoration. I really appreciate your thoroughness and attention to detail. I like when you do focused additions on specific aspects of restorations. Can you devote a video to suspension? You've mentioned the difficulty of the crimped, US suspension, but I've found that the removable, HK suspensions can also be quite challenging. When I've removed them on past restorations and re-installed them, they lose their spring, and then the cars sits too low. Can you give us some insights into how to handle replacing, repairing and reviving redline suspensions? Thanks for your informative and entertaining videos.
I found this channel through an ASMR recommendation (it's always relaxing to me to watch small detailed tasks like this), but I'm truly fascinated by these processes and how phenomenal the end products are! Great restorations, how much does that sort of service cost out of curiosity? It's clear you put a lot of care into these :)
I still come back 3 years later to watch you fix these cars
the bob ross of hot wheels customizers
Happy little bush right there...
“You see take that oxidation, and sand the devil out of it...”
and we have a nice green car where all the little squirrels can live in.
this comparison makes no sense you braindead redditor
@@slimeprivilege It's better to be braindead than having no sense of humor.
This has become one of my favorite TH-cam channels.
Your comment at the end about how experience and practice helps is really great advice.

well I could do that... thanks!!
Seconded for showing the painting process.
even if sanding and painting was the same for every car... i would still enjoying seeing these steps.
a few more minutes of detail would be just fine :)
Zinc plating has improved your craft significantly, and you were already extremely skilled. This moves your restorations into the stratosphere for collectors who want the perfect restoration and will pay big money to have it done right. Well done!

I've watched about 30 videos on red line resto, and this was my favorite so far
Love that you include the "behind-the-scenes" stuff and talk in detail about some of the processes you go through. Excellent work and another great video!
Not only do you do a masterful restoration. I give you a ton of credit for your patience and time letting the layers of paint cure.
I think this is your best restoration.
I started taking apart old Sizzlers Cars and restoring them....thanks to you and rekindling my interest in this great past time hobby...thanks!!
I have an old 65 impala that me and my dad found metal detecting and it's missing a wheel alot of paint bent Axel's and really really dirty I'd really like it if I could send it to you seeing how good you are at restoring hot wheels
Really nice metal restoration with your electroplating process, awesome final result 👍
That's beautiful, man. Looks better than a fresh-out-of-the-package version.
Beautifully done sir. Wow, just an amazing transforming restoration. Your video's are always done with such an incredible degree of professionalism. Best and most comprehensive restoration video's out there. Great work!
I agree, this is becoming one of my favorite channels. You have a great narration voice.
My dad and my aunts bought me all of the original Hot Wheels from the beginning up to about 1972, when I got into model cars. Man I wish I had them back! This was one of my favorites.
I like watching your restorations on the cars I have just watch a few and you do a real great job on the cars

Amazing how well it polished up! Good video thanks!
Very thorough and authentic resto👌
One of my favorite as a kid. Great job!
I do fantasy and sci-fi miniatures, but I don't paint nearly as often as I should. Your videos are motivating me to get back on the stick! Thank you!
Pride.
Pride in craftsmanship. I dying character in so many professions, hobbies & work skills.

I think he nailed it, nice work
Thanks for loving what you do and sharing it for all to see!
Beautiful restoration, the electroplating process really helped to return the car to its original state.
Well done amazing result.
You’ve outdone yourself!
I really enjoy your videos. And, you are so right on with practicing the art we are interested in. The more we practice, the better we get. For me, it is the guitar and your words encourage me to keep practicing.
These videos are so satisfying to watch late at night

That electro stripping and electro plating is a real game changer for a project like this one.
I'm addicted. . . .Great job! TOP FAVORITE and you have a CARDED version! You are the coolest! Thanks
I like that new spinning display wheel
I came here to comment on it too.
It's great!
It looks 3D printed.
It is 3D printed indeed!
I'm confident to try and restore a Red Line now. Just bought the '32 Vicky today off eBay.
Looks great!! Maybe a little greener then the original but I think it looks better!!
The original has exactly the same paint but it's very old so it's faded.
I was thinking the same but I assume even if the carded car stayed in its blister all these years it might have still deteriorated a little. The wear on the plastic blister itself might also affect how we see the car behind it as well.

I love your videos and passion for restoring these beautiful Hot Wheels. You do amazing work.
What a fantastic resto. Thanks!! and yes I don't think it would have turned out all that well without the zinc plating.
Car looks great, your work and videos are outstanding! The color match looks very close, but the original car looks like it has more of a gold tinge to it.
Oh and I appreciate the comment about hobbies, life and just keeping at it. So true👍
Great job. Beautiful restoration.
Your famous now, school bus man

I would pay double for the restoration version over the mint, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
That’s a terrific job. Great resto!
What a KILLER restoration!!! VERY well done job!
Not a ridiculous platitude at all. You did a great job.
Fantastic job, thank you for sharing it. I hope your client is happy with it.
Hello!!! I'm from the city of Queretaro, Mexico. I love your work, still so you have so much talent!
Saved this to my motivation playlist!
I like how life just sometimes works out for the best..
Excellent work
What an awesome thing to give back to your friend and his dad.🙂
Awesome restore., I really enjoy how you have changed your skill sets and have been able to restore the cars to such a great extent. keep up the great content and humbling work,
This is the BEST restoration.
very nice work. I used to work in a body shop a few years back, and I find it interesting how similar the restorations are...
Excellent repair!
WOW! Excellent result. Thank you for another amazing detailed tutorial Sir.
The electro-polishing seems to be the deciding factor, excellent restoration 👍👍
Great work! Great words in the end! Who knew that hot wheels restoration channel video will inspire me to record my music once again after years of just playing and practicing. Thank you and keep on! Always love binge watching your channel. I guess, gotta stand by my words now... :-)

the care looks... happier? yes, it looks much more happy, and that pleases me
You have done well with this one. Both cars look the same to me. Awesome job.
That was one of the cool early hot wheels
That display turntable is awesome! A 3-D printed redline tire and hub!
one of my faves...great job on the restore!
You are the Shaquille O'Neal of Hot Wheels!
Just super!
I find these videos very relaxing and satisfying to watch. Huge fan.
One of the best ones yet. Good job.
I honestly can’t say I enjoy another creator on this site more than you, keep up the quality videos!
wow thanks!
I had this same car as a child. I think your repaint is more accurate to the original than the on card Woody.
I love your 3-D printed turn table! ❤️
Mmm to be honest I'm not a big fan of hot wheels I'm a matchbox man but I'll always have a look, I've now seen several of your refurbs and they are growing on me the woodie has turned out real nice and i will be watching more Chris, (uk)
Great video as always.
Very nice job, as usual, congrat !
10 out of 10! It great that you help so many people out as well!
Another amazing restoration! The zinq plating does wonders to these cars :)
Another phenomenal restoration work! Thanks for the video. Keep them coming.
great job! your restoration jobs are looking so much better since you figured out how to zinc plate.
Cool turn about or turn table. I havnt seen one like that before. As usual, Great job ! A world of difference ! You really have the zinc plating process down pat. I hope to get there one day.
It turned out really nice for all the pitting it had! I like the Model A’s body style
The color is beautiful!
Outstanding work! It’s always enjoyable and relaxing to watch your videos!
