Hi Jason. That is a great list and all beauties. That Frank Robinson 59 Topps has fantastic eye appeal for its grade. Thanks for sharing my friend. Talk soon pal.
Beautiful cards! The 50’s had the best looking cards and ‘56 is my favorite too. The Mantle and Williams are their best looking ones in my opinion. Thanks for the show, Jason
@@EverydayCardCollector-Jason totally! This is inspiring me to make a video about my 1958 Topps set. Maybe I’ll do that in the next few weeks. Have a great day!
@@whitesoxfancardcollector Thanks Mitchell! Slowly but surely I am growing the collection. That crazy thing called life sometimes prevents you from getting everything you would like.
Hey Jason, beautiful cards! Like you, the 53' Bowman is my favorite Mantle overall. The way he finishes the swing, being offset to show the sky with stadium lights and the general simplicity just makes it an awesome card.
All great cards Jason! The 54 Berra and 56 Mantle are both major wants for me. The Pierce and Lollar are both sweet looking cards. For me 50s,60s and70s are my favorite decades to collect!
Was that the Antique Road Show you were watching in the background? Any card from 1953 is awesome. Of course I have to say that. lol Too me, "oddball" just means special and rare. Nothing wrong with that. Gee, what no records in your top 10 baseball cards? lol
@@DoubleDvintagebaseballcards I agree my friend the 56 Ted is right there. Such an awesome card. I got mine the day we went out to lunch at the National!
Fantastic choices Jason. I really want a ‘55 Henry Aaron. But I have the ‘56 which also has the same image of him as the ‘54 Rookie card. Thanks for sharing. 👊🏻
A shorten video is very considerate of other commentors who have 2 billion things to do!!!! nice 1952 Billy Pierce , 1953 Sherman Lollar , nice 1954 Yogi , 1955 Homerun king, 1955 ,Nellie Fox, nice 1956 Mantle , 1956 Ted Williams, 1958 Al Kaline , 1958 world serise Batting Foes, Mantle and Homerun king , , 1959 Frank Robinson although an expensive card now have you thought about selling the 1.5 and with combined cash and buy a 5 something in a player grade nice eye appeal ? I know you told us that the cards are not based on value but cards that you like that are your favorites, but for Homerun king a 5 would look great.. if you were getting say a Joe Black or Monte Irvin then a 1.5 makes sense but for Homerun king a 5 looks great any thoughts about upgrading? No the Redman Tobacco cards are very real cards there like Double play ball card there like score there real card!!! oddball cards fun cards would be like Hostess, Bon bread, post ceral, Burger King and K Mart these are not real cards there fun NOt suppose to have value but others are trying to sell them. Redmen Tobacco are real cards and can be expensive!!!! so which card of your cards do you like better 1956 Mantle, 1955 Homerun king or 1956 Williams it's still below the player grade but it's a 3? surprised you didn't show these cards or talk about them 1959 Bob Gibson? 1955 Roberto Clemente? 1954 Ernie Banks 1952 Mantle?

@@vintagecardssteve8582 Thanks Steve! I think the 56 is one of his best cards!
The Billy Pierce is the first bowman I ever picked up from the 1952.... his cards are a steal. Seriously underrated and I think HOF worthy imo.
I agree 100 percent! He has a great run of cards. Thanks so much for watching!

Loved it, Jason! I'm a big fan of the 1957 set, it's not side-ways, full picture on the card. My first 1957 was Duke Snider.
