One detail I absolutely LOVE is that the “placeholder” arcade cabinet for fighting games without a dedicated cabinet is a mortal kombat cabinet with the sides painted black.MK2 must have one of the best selling arcade games or something because it seemed like every arcade I’ve been to for most of my life has at least one if not multiple converted MK cabinets. Doesn’t matter if it was converted to a Tekken, street fighter 3, or even a light gun game.
Looking well as always, been a while since ive been on, it started to take over my life lol. With you helping me with the UGC stuff and the Star Wars corridor!!!looks like ur still doing an awesome job
This is absolutely amazing, its pretty much the ultimate arcade set up, only games I am not sure I saw in it that I'd have is Moon Patrol, Crystal Castles, and Rampage. (and a few pinball machines that unfortunately aren't available in Pinball FX3) Those full size racing machine with the cars actually made me say WOAH! And I loved the fact that you have the other arcade games like basketball toss, speedball, air hockey ect, just need a prize counter lol
I would want a bowling alley, mini-golf and laser tag There used to be a place here in Colorado called Celebrity Sports Center that had those and an arcade like this, I'd love to build a VR recreation of that
Awesome! Thanks again for sharing! Is there a way to have all machines turned on when loading into the room? Also, is it possible to have the attract screen on for every machine and still walk around smoothly? Or is it just too demanding? Thanks again!
I'm just learning about this. how does this even work? It must be running hundreds of emulators all at once! the only other way I can see this working is is all of them are just looping video files of the attract screens until someone decides to play it. I wish I had a vr headset for this now
Great work, got it downloaded and setting it up now, having troubles with pinball, any chance you could provide a new discord invite to troubleshoot a little?
I know you can't post a link to download the roms needed for this, but is there any guide showing specifically which games are included? This is obviously more than just the MAME 2003 or 2010 romsets.
@@teamgt1981 Ah okay, I did see all the subfolders in there, some of it just isn't totally clear. For example, the batch files that point to a specific location on a specific drive. Does that mean I'll need to edit each batch file to point to the correct path for each game? I also noticed that some of the folders are empty (Hikaru, Naomi, Naomi 2). Are these just placeholders for future games that will be added later? Sorry for all the questions. 😄
@@teamgt1981 Sorry, one more question. The Arcade and Lightgun Arcade folders in the Marquees folder have almost exactly all the same files in them. One has 4715 while the other has 4716. Was this intentional? Because that's an extra 4GB of duplicate files.
What is your pc specs bro? I have 7900 xt and a 5800x3d and 32 gb ram. But it lags low framerate with all the arcade machines even when i dont have games on, just looking at all machines it starts to lag in certain spots
@@BlackV4You it's not optimized yet, having a lot of cabinets in one wide open room is not great for performance. all the rooms were just to show off the cabs without having to make a ton of rooms It's probably better to have more smaller rooms. make your own arcade the way you want it laid out and only add as many cabs as it can handle
