Quick tip, if you have already positioned all your units group but you want to move the 1 unit without moving the rest you just have to hold Ctrl while moving it, it will not move other units of the group ;) love ur vids man

Excellent! Been following the ME series - You make it look so easy. Have had to go back & recheck the logic many times. Subbed!

YES more of this! This sort of thing is sorely lacking in the broader DCS world.

You're going to need to do a FOD (foreign object damage) walk before you taxi across the airfield. How do you script that?

Hi, thanks for your videos, they are really awesome! Could you please do a Vietnam era mission using the Community a4 Skyhawk on Caucasus. I've been trying so hard to create a good mission, but they are always lame and just not exciting. Can you describe how to get ideas for your missions? Thank you in advance

i know this is kinda old video and im sure you have learn tons since you made this video but im going to throw this out there and hope it helps someone. for objects that you are going to blow up like the f/a-18's and the artillery units you can use static models which is the tab / button two stops below the tank icon to place ground units. there is every playable and ai plane/ ground troops/ heli's and more plus a bunch of awesome other things, like farp equipment and warehouses and bunkers and ammo. the best part of using the static objects is that they dont take up any resources like the other objects do, the only downside is that the planes, ground troops, heli's are non functional, the warehouse and farps very much work for what they do. hopefully you made some since out of this. peace be with you.

Do i need to put the "fire at point" outside of the green zone to make the artillery to fire?
I to put the fire at point target inside the green zone and it didn't fire. does that the problem or it's something else?

Just a little correction about the f-18s not having exploded. It wasn't quite because of the explosion volume, but because the trigger is of the type 'once', so what happened is that it had one 10% chance of exploding. if you want to keep repeating the trigger you have to change it's type to 'repetitive'. interesting mission though, will we see you testing it?

I thought what you said was true also - but try it yourself, for eg, set 1 aircraft out with a 1 time trigger to destroy after 10sec - but set the chance to 1% - and ensure trigger is a once only... You'll find the aircraft will explode somewhere between 10sec = 110sec every time... But I agree it seems it should only have a 1% chance of doing so

as far as i can tell, there is a serious weakness in DCS weapons effects modelling- aircraft bombs and rockets, and indirect artillery fires need to virtually score direct hits to do any damage- there is no blast and fragmentation modelling, therefore you see vehicles whether they are armored or not surviving artillery or bomb hits that in real life would have knocked them out
