Last thing I bought was Afghan ‘map’. Even though I’m a chinook coomer, that map was the last module that gets added to my extensive (basically everything except Christian eagle) module catalogue. I’ve spent thousands over the years and it stops until we have some concrete changes.

What players are like, so is the game. I know people who bought modules for DCS World and then never ran them, putting off learning the modules for years! So why should developers spend time debugging and writing beautiful source code if the majority of buyers do not value it? This situation does not only apply to DCS World. Many game buyers often never play the games they buy, putting it off until later.

The tittle should say "How to TRY DCS World Planes for free"....SMH.

Is there any update as to what will happen to F15E if ED and Razbam go their separate ways? Would the module die? Could ED buy the rights to continue developing it? I really want to get it but this issue has been going on for way too long, and I'm contemplating buying it now and hope for the best or enjoy it while its still working and then refund it later and buy another plane I've been wanting like the F4E

What other company can sell you something and then just say they're not going to give it to you and no refunds? I have a lot of modules and F15E is one of my favorites but I feel kinda dumb any time I use it knowing that it's a half-assed version and they're never going to make it whole. I'm surprised another company hasn't entered the market with a superior product. At this point, I think ED would be shitting their pants and regret the way they've treated their customers.

I no my way aronnd military aircraft and this was altmately too much. Wasted a lot of Money. Listen to him if your lucky enough to see this before being sucked in like he said.

bought f16 and f18 and supercarrier... just bugs, play it for a year and only bugs... they cant fix multiplayer score board for now almost a year.

Nearly everything they release is a work in progress with some stuff working and some stuff not. What i also dont like is releasing a map., working on it and then charging again for the same damn map. Normandy, for example. I fly ww2 warbirds so am not affected much. I have the stuff i need for ww2. I have all WW2 planes but spend most of my time flying accross the channel in the P-51. Blue Nosed Bastards campaign is grand. As is the Debden Eagles. The F15 will die of they dont resolve this.

Started with LOMAC, DCS came with great hope. Never delivered. Every year I check what's new - looking to splurge, no price cap. Nothing appealing, chaos, modding, pieces of a solution, etc. I wish there came an alternative.

Another sand map... boring. Would be better if they put more manpower into engine core improvements (vulkan).

Id like VR to be fixed. I shouldn't need to go to the bios and turn off my E cores cos the game keeps grabbing them. And yes I know about process lasso, but I shouldn't need to download another piece of software to run the game correctly. Also just pay Razbam so they can start fixing the bugs in their modules

Just saw this and I'm disappointed with -- you. You are implying you are the only honest DCS guy out there, shame on you. These things are not that expensive, so what gives with you, are you jealous? As some of the content creators indicated, they paid for it also. So your "I paid for it myself" attitude is moot. I am not subscribed to your channel, and I think I am glad.

Msfs not only doesn’t have any weapons on anything….but you can’t even have a satisfying crash. I hate it.

I’ve been a stalwart defender of ED because I have always been so incredibly amazed with DCS. I still love DCS. But even I…after defending this company for years now, have noticed that there really is something icky about them. Idk. I like giving the benefit of the doubt but the idea of releasing one unfinished product after the other is just becoming absurd. I always figured that they were tight on money, but somebody disabused me of that idea. So, they either are greedy or just have some bizarre business practices that I don’t understand. But here is the thing, ED isn’t a giant corporation like Microsoft and somehow makes a product that in my opinion, is FAR better than MSFS. So yes, ED has problems but they also seem to have a lot of incredible successes and have done a lot with a little. I wish it was even better but beggars can’t be choosers.

What about the damn Vulkan API that they announced ~60 years ago? Ever gonna implement that instead of a dozen new half-finished modules that will be forgotten about in 6 months?

Human beings will always find something to bitch about. If the maps were completely filled out, there would be something else to bitch and moan over. Nothing is perfect, but for what it is and does, what application is better than DCS, its planes, helicopters, and maps?

I still wanna start playing f18 buy hardware that is more immersive than the t1600tm i have the carrier, wanna use on flanker the red kod fully clickable mod, play with tdcs ppl and start learning from the tucano and t45... But listening to this and other things in past year worries me... I also hope STS Team speak does work as it s part of the immersion.

Steam stats? Are you for real? Lol. It sounds like complaints from somebody who got their ego harmed in some way I can't discern. I used to babble and complain like you back in the days (more than 10 years ago). This is not an AAA product, the product being a shooter. It's a complex, way more complex product than a AAA title, with a way lesser cashflow and lower staff. Have THAT in mind before you rant like a spoiled entitled teenager. Try it out. And for Pete's sake, learn how to speak your own language. Thanks.

New terrains and maps bring fast money, fixing stuff doesn"t...To me it seems they are following this paradigm.

Considering how much money I've put into that game, plus the cost to be able to run it and play it with a HOTAS.... That is genuinely a pretty significant cost. It's just dumb how they basically aren't even holding up their end of the deal on a ton of things. Man I want to enjoy your product, and I used to... But you can't keep giving people unfinished and/or broken things for full price. And you also have to add things to the core game other than just graphical and aesthetic things. Dude, a dynamic campaign would be awesome for starters.. Also better AI, general game stability... Can you fix VR please so that we don't have to spend an hour just messing with settings to get the game to run smoothly??

The RAZBAM situation was the boiling point for me. Deprecating hundreds of dollars of stuff I bought because of sheer ineptitude is fucking insane. The fact they are STILL for sale is even more insane

DCS is good if you like to make cinematics. As far as using the simulation, it leaves a lot to be desired. The EA model is abhorrent.

A really big Peeve of mine with DCS are the training missions,, 1- missing some weapons that are needed to learn. 2- slow: let us hit space bar to move along. 3-some training missions broken, some were fixed. More to come as far as what is needed!

get the license from Alyx VR and INTEGRATE it with DCS...LOL.... about where we are now with DCS .. LOL

I disagree, I have been enjoying ED and DCS since their inception. I love DCS and will support them in their growth. Sure they have some items to work out; but if you notice the trends they are indeed working on them. I'm seeing more campaigns now than ever before which was none, the new maps are amazing and are needed for diverse campaigns. I know I never want to play on the caucuses map over and over. They have improved immensely in just the last 5 years! There is much more positive than negative with DCS! Issue with the complaints on finishing modules or fixing items aren't as easy as people think they are as they require time and money to maintain and fix modules. Also, some modules are limited based on the block and the other related systems. Some of the systems are linked to other modules so adjusting code for one may impact all other modules that use a system or weapon. There are real world pilots including myself giving feedback on how systems should work in the real aircraft; but then they need to figure out how to make it happen... No easy feat... Honestly shocked DCS isn't charging monthly fees to help them bring in help.

About time the community gets together on this, I have yet to buy any modules cuz all the ones im interested in are still "Early Access" so I just create new accounts to paly the trails for 2 weeks since they want to release unfinished product, get out of here with this early access BS. Finish a product, then release the product, you don't buy a house half built with no roof and move into it!

i know and undertand your point, but the fact is that if they do like this mean that they are making money which is the focus of the company in order to pay salary and so on. It a marketing strategy that unfortunately work dispite che bad vibes sent to the community. It's frustrating having probelm with the f16 today in almost 2025, it a module made maybe 4 years ago?, they work also for military and government, maybe we are not their core business anymore

Had enough of what, exactly? It's called a *PRE* purchase. Not "MUST purchase. Just don't buy it until something is called COMPLETE. There, problem solved. Others who understand opportunity cost will choose to purchase it. No one is forcing anyone.

This game is now as bad as SC, a massive piss take from ED with super cringe fans.
