👍👍 These videos are the most useful thing ever. Thanks for posting them it really helped. Regarding the boarding wall, what kind of such material and where can I buy. Thanks
Your videos are super useful. Thanks for all your efforts. I need to fit an a bidet sprayer and the toilet inlet valve is hard to unscrew it, I am able to reach and fit a wrench on the screw, but I am unable to move the wrench and unscrew it since there is no room left for moving. Any DIY suggestions, appreciate your inputs. Thanks.
I'm about to take my bath out because of those stupid center taps. Whoever fitted our bath did not secure the locking nut properly so the taps now move at one end. To tighten the nut, I have to take the bath out, so putting a traditional end tap version back in. Great video and thank you for sharing 👌👌
Many plumbers say no taps as back of bath where they are not accessed very well. What's you thoughts on this and reason you went for taps on back? Amazing channel. Thanks
If there's no battens on a free standing bath, why is it necessary to use battens on a standard bath? Moreover, are battens mandatory? Great videos btw
I am from the USA. We never see that style of tub ( the bump out in the front) Whould love to see a video on why this is a good design. I think it is for the shower part but not sure.
see when you sciliconed the bath, you had the bath full of water, is that so theres weight down for sciliconing or is it to check for leaks at the same time?
it's to get the right height for the bath before the silicon sets. Probably not too important in this case with his massive beams holding the bath up 😁.
I don’t have any of my tiled floor down yet so house do I know much much to allow for tile and tile adhesive? I don’t have a finished floor high to set the bath too? Thanks and great channel, subscribed!!
Personally if you want the taps there I'd have advised wall mounted taps. They're going to be a nightmare to get off if you ever wamt to change them. Agree with others sit the feet on a timber strap if you have floorboards. I'd sling a couple of rubber line clips on that waste run too. It can go soft with hot water and sag over time. But good job overall😊

Great video as always. I’m doing this myself at the moment, just wondering because you have shower boarded onto the bath did you have to cut the bath front panel down in length? Or did you fit the panel and board to the front of it? Thanks
Am I right in saying that you will not have to do any supplementary bonding to the bath as it is a composite bath? I would like to see a video about the subject of bonding in bathrooms and kitchens if you could do one please. 👍👍
I installed one of those baths with taps on the side in my old house.... Looked amazing.... Until the flexible tap pipes perished..... Oh dear dear dear.... NEVER again will I ever use those flexible hoses! If I wanted them on the side, I'd sooner put pipes into the wall and then mount a funky tap to the wall, pouring into the bath. Hope yours are better quality than the ones I had!!
Brilliant as a lot of people are scared of plumbing and generally of Plumbers as most of them insist on driving their VW vans onto your nicely trimmed lawns
Your bath will sink slightly when it's full of water, so you should fill up the bath before sealing to replicate this. If you start sealing with an empty bath, the sealant could crack as it expands when you first use it.
Is there any harm in using a bit of sealant when fitting the waste? Had a nightmare in a previous property with a leaking waste and I did this in the end to stop it, but is it a bad idea?
I think there should be a warning about using this tap position. I get customers see videos like this and want taps in that position, when you try to explain you can’t get to them at all if there’s an issue they don’t believe you as because they have seen them fitted in that position on TH-cam That bath is extremely well fitted , so well it’s definetly not coming out without removing tiles or wallboards. So a tap change could mean virtually a whole new bathroom. Not knocking the video, top notch very easy to understand, we all do it slightly different

A few plumbers are saying that I must replace my whole bathtub Do you have any ideas I can explore as I don't really want to be installing a brand new tub Thanks in advance
You could try the nerrad tapex kit to get up there with a camera or a mirror but it's a nightmare job. If its on an internal wall cut a hatch from the next room. I always recommend wall mounted taps for these scenarios for this reason. Good luck.
Thanks for the reply - good idea will try get something like that and have a go first - but Yh lesson learnt for us - 20p washer has turned into a nightmare 😂
Yeah the side taps aren’t the most convenient things, but I go with a good quality brand and fit them well in the hope that minimal maintenance is necessary. A lot of these modern designs aren’t done with maintenance in mind 😂

Is there any harm in using a bit of sealant when fitting the waste? Had a nightmare in a previous property with a leaking waste and I did this in the end to stop it, but is it a bad idea?
The trap you used was a shallow seal trap. Not compatible if your waste goes into a soil stack. Its only compatible if it goes to a hopper or gully.
