Popularity of King K Rool has died off in recent years mostly due to the fact that besides Smash he hasn't appeared in a game since the 90s. He was very popular and iconic in his time though. Before even Smash for Wii U came out he was highly requested. Looking back at public reactions to his unveiling people went nuts even before the song came on. Donkey Kong, Diddy and King k Rool have been overwhelmed by a horde of mutated sea creatures that are destroying both donkey Kong and the kings houses, the sea creatures taken King k Rool to a makeshift jail cell to keep him at bay.... Meanwhile donkey Kong and Diddy Kong fighting off the rest of the mutated sea enemies, as they fight forth into the afternoon both kongs are getting fatigue and and are soon to give up.....but....( Cue this badass song) with one final slam to the ground breaking a wooden bridge separating both the kongs and the sea creatures, the ground start a quaking as one big boss sea monster appeared.... As both the kongs prepared themselves for one last big fight as the burning sunset was dawning a huge roar was heard behind donkey Kong... It was King k Rool with an army of his goon, pissed off that everything was destroyed on the island, teaming up with his arch nemesis kongs....to take on the rest of the horde, battle the monster boss and take back the island.. the end
Donkey Kong: A Kruel New Leaf Towards the end of the movie, where DK and Diddy are fighting some massive threat to their island and possibly the world. They're losing, both exhausted and beat up. Looks like the villain is going to win. DK watches a Klaptrap scuttle by him and towards the villain. He looks back and sees none other than King K. Rool, riding forward with an army of Kremlings. DK and Diddy watch in awe as K. Rool helps them up and some kremlings tend their wounds, then giving them both a high five with his big scaly hand. K. Rool then proceeds to march forward with his army, (swagger walk and all), and beat the everloving hell out of the villain, during which this plays.

Here’s my idea of a post credits scene for the new Mario movie: We cut to a close up of Donkey Kong’s island, then we zoom out from the island to reveal that someone’s looking through it with some binoculars. We then hear a deep, growling sinister voice. “Grrrr… this must be the place.” It’s King K. Rool and his Kremling crew! King K. Rool (in Clancy Brown’s voice) says “GRAH HA HA HA HA! Alright then, crew! Let’s get to work!” K. Rool and his crew jump out of their ship with this theme playing in the background, then we fade out.
I could imagine a new villain appeared and is about to defeat kong and diddy kong but then they hear a stomp the music starts playing and next to donkey kong is his nemesis king k rool. Teaming up with him to defeat this new villain
It's like in a cutscene after the supposed final big bad boss, DK and which ever partner he's with, are on the ground almost defeated by this new evil threat to DK Island. The new villain laughs in triumph, as he has seemingly defeated the last defence/hope of DK island, before walking up slowly, prepared to taking his time to finish their weakened foes. Then all of a sudden, as DK braces for the villain's final blow, it never comes, because out over the foggy sea by DK island, cannon fire is heard, leaving the once confident villain surprised and stumped. The villain then swiftly leaps away as cannonballs land where the villain once stood. The villain then turns around, livid at whoever dared to stop him from finishing his fallen foe(s). DK(and partner) look up out at the open sea, dazed and confused, before hearing an eerily familiar bellowly laugh echo out from the misty fog. Then, out of the eerie fog, a massive galleon(name of a large ship), sails out from the mist and crashes to shore. The ship's figure head, held the head of a once thought forgotten foe of the Kongs, as this theme(or another Remix of Gangplank Galleon) is heard as the camera pans up to the deck of the ship, where 5 or 6 Kremling soldiers wait at the top, as thundering footsteps are heard before the group separates in the middle. A familiar figure to the Kong's appears between the Kremilings, as the villain snarls and the Kongs are left speechless, as King K. Rool appears from the shadows behind his smaller Krewmates, before hopping down with a thunderous crash on the sand below. The main villain glares at the Kremilng King's arrival, as the crazed crowned crocodile smirks back at the villain with satisfaction and glee. K. Rool then turns and looks at the beaten down Kongs, just now getting back up from their scuffle with the main baddie, and smiles. DK looks skeptical at K. Rool wondering why he's helping them, before K. Rool points to his boat, showing whatever power or curse the main bad guy used to take control of DK island, before the Kremlings use something to get rid of it, showing the audience that the ever clever Kremling King had found or created a way to combat the main villain, after supposed fending off a attack on his OWN Island by the bad guy and then went on the offensive towards them, and that DK Island was the one chance the villain had to gather up more power and forces to fight back against K.Rool and the Kremlings. Now, the villain had wasted his time to regroup, due to the Kongs meddling, and King K. Rool was back to finish the job. The villain then gets enraged, ready to unleash his full power at his two most hated foes. The Kremling Krewmates then help DK and his partner(s) to their feet, before K. Rool extends a hand towards DK with a knowing toothy grin, knowing they both are going to utterly destroy this new threat to both their islands. DK shakes his hand, sending a smirk of his own back at K. Rool, before together they walk forward towards the Big bad evil guy with they're newly formed alliance, ready to finish him off once and for all. The battle will then start, with you getting to choose if you want to play as K. Rool or DK, and starting the fight from there, with a remix version of Gangplank Galleon triumphedly playing in the background. Once the final battle is finished and the credits are completed, you will be greeted by a new pop up on the main menu when you choose the previous save file, saying you now have the ability to play through the story mode as King K. Rool as a reward for completing the game. K. Rool will have the same health as DK, have a projectile like Diddy that would kill regular enimes and damage bosses just like jumping on them would instead of stunning them like Diddy's would(would be either the blunderbuss or the crownerang.) and K. Rool will have a hover ability like Funky Kong or Diddy with his PropellerPack. K Rool would also have the ability to call in a Klaptrap minion to help you, but you can only have 1 out at a time, and other players can't control it.

As The God Stood over the bruised and battered ape as his mind-wiped friends and the god bellow down in laughter, the sounds of a french horn are heard. Donkey Kong looks around until he hears a familiar laughter and whips his head around to see a fleet of pirate ships built out of metal and wood, while a giant galleon floats forward with the head of a bronzed Kreming is seen with it's mouth agape. And standing front and center is the crazed Kremling King, The Insane Crocodile, King. K. Rool. standing front and center. Suddenly the Pirate Ships surround DK Island and thousands of Kremlings march forward onto the Island, making a B-Line for wherever D.K is. Meanwhile King K. Rool is seen shooting at the large volcano on D.K Island, as a large cannonball shoots through the Magma rocks and exposes the Volcano and the other Enemy. King K. Rool uses his jetpack and propels forward as he shoots at the god and D.K. Now Donkey Kong has to save the world AND Stop K. Rool???

I dont rlly see why they would cut him. Sakurai said himself that rool was added due to popular demand. He is most likely aware of the massive uproar that would commense if he was cut. Also i main k.rool so if he is cut can you help me burn down the nintendo Hq?
@@SuperPwnageBoi69 They got to cut someone and a character that is now part of a franchise quickly being forgotten even by Nintendo themselves and was more popular in the west seems a likely target to me.

@@SuperPwnageBoi69 Not to say Nintendo explicitly hates or ignores the Western audience but they are disconnected. Obviously there is a language barrier and when the home market of Japan shouts for certain things it seems to them much louder. The inverse is also true for Western companies.
