NZ Deep South Tour Part 7 - Omarama to Wanaka

In December 2022 we travelled to New Zealand to spend 7 weeks bicycle-touring in the Deep South.
This stage took us along a very busy highway at first, over Lindis Pass. After a day of this, and a bush camp near the Lindis Pass Hotel, we turned off onto quiet rural roads. From Luggate we traveled the VERY rugged Newcastle Track, not recommended at all for touring bikes. Recuperating in Albertown, we took an extremely short ride to Wanaka next day, where we planned a rest-day.
