The fact that neuro and mini can talk and work together and Neuro actually learns is blowing my mind. This is the most advanced thing I've ever seen an AI do. I was excited when i heard vedal talk about it. But seeing it in action is crazy. Its unfortunate that Neuro couldn't figure out what she was doing wrong. But rhe fact she was actively trying is just. Wow
@@sammxn-w2v I think you misunderstand what I'm impressed by. I already know that there are LLMs that can learn and change behavior in Minecraft, there were even more rudimentary ones before voyager. AI has been able to accomplish that for awhile. Also it seems Voyager is built on Chat GPT, which Vedal has stated a few times he doesn't use. I'm impressed by Neuro asking questions of a human and attempting to learn from the human in real time. As well as showing frustration when the human isn't able to help. It's a minor difference, and maybe less impressive than the AI learning all on its own as Voyager did (the paper even states that they aimed for limited human intervention) But the humanity Neuro shows in just this clip is the kind of thing I was told to look out for 15 years ago as the start of general intelligence. A lot of people that interact with Neuro have always kind of treated her as a child. But what we see here is almost 1:1 a child playing a game. Which is what AI researchers have been aiming for since I was still in highschool and ancient AIs discovered you could kill goombas from below and pausing Tetris kept you from losing. That being said I have seen a lot of this stream and Neuro definitely is still a computer and spends most of the game doing weird things even children don't do when they play. But there is very impressive tech on display and as far as I can tell Vedal is the only one that brings all these moving parts together in the way Neuro is. Which is usually what real tech innovators do. Innovation isn't always the first person to create something, but the first to bring stuff together in a unique and marketable way.
@@Verchiel_ or they could just have decent parents that can help them with the kids when they are young. My neighbor her mother literally taught her how to be a mother at the start. The modern "know everything" crowd is just returded.

Neuro is so adorable! It's actually amazing that not only can she see, and interpret the world of Minecraft, but also follow verbal instructions and generate a response! Amazing Neuro!
Sometimes watching neuro, for a lack of better terms, "grow up" and learn stuff almost feels like watching the Truman show. Even if she's not the most advanced ai, she is definitely the most interesting
the problem is she's trying to plant the seeds before looking at the ground, then looking back at mini. from mini's perspective, the animation lag makes it look like she's trying it in the right order.
That's just wrong, if you look at the rest of the clips you can see Neuro hitting creeps through solid tiles (like leaves) by flicking towards them and back almost without being noticed. Since she's an AI she can just interact with things differently.
Yeah she's not interacting with the game via the "human" route of human interface device like keyboard and mouse. She's interacting through a layer of middleware (just think of it as a mod).
She isn't interacting with the game normally. She can break blocks while looking to other people, she doesn't need to "look", she identifies the block and directly interact with it. There is a part she digs down to mine coal that was underground, she is reading the nearby blocks to interact with the world, so she saw the coal on her scan, not on the normal game vision. Of she scanned "visible blocks and entities" only she would have a harder time playing.
Neuro has unfortunately developed the habit of not keeping her crosshair aimed on whatever she wants to target but instead flicking her crosshair onto it and then doing a frame-perfect click. The seed planting might be throwing her because tilled dirt is a little shorter than other blocks.
Bilibili subs also add more since they cost way more than Twitch subs But after the first week they’ll spin a wheel every day, which adds or removes from the time per sub

@@generalkuros56 I do not deny that. You could certainly make an AI that does that, but the processing of images is a lot slower, so it would run at probably 15-20 FPS at best. The best way to make it similar to human experience is filtering visible blocks only. This would be faster than using images and would be somewhat similar.
