Oh ok, cuz I added my friend to a group that already existed and he showed up as a participant and it showed that was logged as a "past participant" after I removed him. Our personal convo still has just one grey check mark, so that's just because he didn't go back online on WhatsApp, right?

OK, so I CANNOT see a person's Last Seen Time info on WhatsApp (while other friends of mine CAN see this person's Last Seen time), but however, I CAN see his profile picture... (Both of us are on iPhones).
Also when I text this person on WhatsApp, my messages ARE delivered to him (and I can ALSO see blue tick marks when he's read my message), but my WhatsApp CALLS to him WON'T go through...
(It's really weird, because if I was blocked, then I shouldn't be able to either see his profile photo and nor would I be able to see my messages being delivered and read by him, right?)...
So have I been blocked, or can something else be happening that would do ALL of the above?

In WhatsApp Business you have the possibilty to have 2 pictures : the profile one and the other just behind.
I can't see the profile one anymore but the other yes. I can also still see the opening hours.

Does it say unavailable in the bio? It probably is just something they wrote. Some people have "Busy" in their bio. Whatever they write in their bio has nothing to do with whether you're blocked.
