I get frustrated for two main reasons: 1. The global market tends to have too many of one item, either steel, or sugar/spices. 2. The storage-expansion items and the land-expansion items are way too hard to get without paying to get them.
@@ryanwalker2016 I'm no expert but what I do is try to ensure that my Sims are always happy. Try completing assignments at the Contest HQ , complete as much as u can. You can earn lots of coins that way or check out your Mayor's journal. It'll give you tasks to do which u can earn coins from. Also, at nights before I go to bed, I set my factories to high produce items of high demand, (eg, grass, watermelons, planks etc) Those stuff go quick . Save up as much coins as u can and unlock the first specialization for each category. Education and Transportation I think is at $40 000, the beach at $20 000 and Entertainment at $60 000 . This can help in boosting up your Sims , which in turn allows you to collect more coins (tax) . Once they're unlocked , it's easier to get the other items in their categories as most of them cost gold keys. Which u can get from doing deliveries or Vu Tower. I hope this explanation helps .
@@ryanwalker2016 So the best way to go about managing your levels is to get to level 15 and begin farming as may seeds as you can and turn them into vegetables, this will net you loads of cash so you can get the best Utility's available. And you will want to have at least 31k saved up before you upgrade to 16 to get the best medical building available. Be careful of going to level 17 because your Global Market will be practically unusable and flooded with Sugar and Spice
(Haven't watched the whole video yet) I hate how as soon as you get to a certain level, for example level 14, all of the sudden all your people get extremely mad for not placing a service, and they assume you have all the money in the world.
I get it! I made a video detailing how to manage growth and leveling with demand so as to never have that problem. I forget the exact title, but it's in my vids. Maybe it will help.
I am now at level 21 and I have more than 95% of happiness in my city I actually saved money by not buying anything and selling the items that I produce and I bought all the services and parts to make sure no one needs anything so it just depend on how you think and how you manage your money or creating your own strategy
So true! I've got wise to that now. I check what the next level will open up (tap on the level number in top left corner). If it's something blue, like police or health centres, I will not upgrade buildings until I have a shed load of money.
The worst thing by far in the game is the market being packed with sugar oh my god just sugar even metal is rare seeing people just spam sugar for 0 reason
I agree with the fact that leveling up is a disadvantage. When I started playing this game, the beach, mountain, and even different types of homes (Tokyo, Omega, etc.) was nonexistent. There was no contest of Mayors and certainly not Wars. You could actually refresh Global Trade as often as you wanted (no 30 sec. wait), so leveling up was considered a positive as you could still find the items you needed. The point of the game or at least how you achieve a larger/ better city has changed completely. This is why the level system no longer makes sense. I wish EA would have figured out the direction of the game or at least planned ahead better so that the additions/changes to the game wouldn't directly interfere with it's original setup. However, I do understand EAs decisions. Before the game was something you checked a few times a day, maybe. Now it's almost necessary to check multiple times, so I'm sure as a result the more time people spend on the app the more money EA makes. Financially, it makes perfect sense. As far as game play, not really.
Just a little info for newbies: Don't just sell anything to the sims that request items. Check to see how much you would be able to sell it for in the market. This will help you avoid loosing money on your hard earned resources, and it can give you more money than what you would get in the market. For example: I got an offer to sell 2 metal for 30. In the market I would have only gotten 20 for 2, so I made an extra 10. On the flip side they wanted 6 nails for 260, but selling 6 in market would give me 480. So CHECK your sim offers before you agree.
TL DR - 1) Advertising makes not just the one item, but your whole depot available to global. So beware! 2) War deliveries - Skip the time-consuming deliveries, and ones which are expensive. 3) Energy efficiency - Everytime your energy bar fills up completely, you are losing potential points. If you're under a shield, there's not much you can do, but if you're not, you should attack before your energy bar fills up. 4) Focus on just one rare item set - (for example, focus only on beach at one time. If you keep collecting multiple things like land and beach at the same time, it clogs your storage.) 5) Leveling up is a bad idea because while you unlock new items, you are now required to produce them as well. Also, in the contest of mayors, high level people means more experienced people who may be more willing to spend simcash on their assignments. I hope it's alright that I have added this, and masjwar isn't offended. I want to know what makes you think Disco Twister as one of the best attacks. Movie Monster I understand, but what, in your opinion, makes Disco Twister so good ? Let me know your thoughts.
I have conferred with the Masjwar, and they are not offended. :) I do feel your summation, while covering the basic points of the video, can leave players who don't understand (for whatever reason) what is stated still in a state of confusion no matter how much they reread this. Point-for-point, energy for score, magnetism is the absolute best disaster in the game. However, due to the excessive amount of items required, a majority of players will not be using it as their primary disaster. "Average" disasters are one for one energy to damage and items required to damage. As you progress through the disasters, disco twister has some of the more easily accessible items needed to launch (in my experience), as well as a better than average ratio of items needed for damage gained. I hope that makes sense without being too long of an explanation.
masjwar totally agreed! Magnetism is the best, considering energy to points ratio, but it needs too many items. BTW, Disco Twister is my favorite too! Most wars I just keep using Disco Twister, sadly I don't have Movie Monster yet.

Honestly dont even play this game that much, but this guy put in effort and was thorough to answer any questions that could come to mind about this game. Why you guys complaining how long it is?
This is so important. Levelling up is a nightmare. It makes everything harder. When you needed a few nails to build, now they ask for corn or cream. Also the contest of mayors is now harder. I have a few questions. 1. Is the Vu tower important/beneficial? I feel like it’s a waste of 40k at my level (28) 2. How do you avoid levelling? Would it be wiser to just stick to making and selling products and buying up more land space?
I agree with the levelling up. Just went 14 to 15 and a load of problems arose that I couldn't afford to sort out. Maxing things before levelling makes it easier in the long run.
It is perfect lmao i started playing again yesterday cuz i gave up like 1 year ago and my progress didnt save and i had stuff that u couldnt get but oof
You talk about levelling being the issue to not finding items in GM, I disagree and actually think that once we reach a certain level the algorithm changes from showing us what we want and need to get us hooked on the game to actively inhibiting us getting what we want and need to Drive up monetised purchases primarily but also Keep us lower, playing longer to encourage monetised purchasing or if we use the watch an advertisement feature the more we play the more we watch still equaling revenue for the company. The thing to remember is games are no longer innocent, when something is annoying and doesn’t make sense it’s normally linked in to somehow driving up revenue
Do not accept Sim Offers asking for items used to expand the city’s border or increase city storage capacity. Do not accept Sim Offers asking for Omega items you currently need to expand Omega storage or Neo Simoleon wallet capacity. Therefore, do not accept Sim Offers that will hinder expansion. If you want to pay for SimCash, wait for a sale.
Levelling up is a big No! I realized that when I was about level 22 and rushed to unlock fast food restaurant thinking that the black biscuits would help me make coins, but i later realized that in all products, the profit is not more than 400 coins. In addition to that, as u level up, rarely required products flood the global market and you won't be able to get most of the good products that are necessary. I had to create a new account, build a new city from scratch to access the old good market, then trade with my old city...it is helping 100% and i stopped levelling up. Point of correction: It is not only your club members that can access you shop if you don't advertise your items, your facebook friends who play the game can also access your shop. Thanks for the good work.
Thanks for the support and agreement. I did mention that FB friends can access the depot as well (approximately at 5:03) but it was brief and in passing.
As I said in my video If you dislike something but you don't say why it is kind of pointless. If you explain why you don't agree or don't like something other people can understand. Thanks.
Been playing for a while now and the best thing to do is: Always have metal, wood and rubber in production. Don't spend your coins on recommendations the game gives you unless it's very necessary. Try as much as possible to join a club, an active club and compete in the contest of mayors. And also the design contest too engage in that. Try your best to engage in wars when your club is at war, you'd get sim bucks from this too.
I love what you said about levelling up. I’m level 83, and I can’t seem to get passed city league anymore. It sucks! I did realize this problem when I started noticing all these low level players getting the big prizes (that I was trying to win) in their city’s. I hope SimCity starts rewarding us better for levelling up. Seems unfair at the moment. My storage is currently 545, so not sure how high it goes. I know it only goes up by 5 each time now, which takes a lot longer to build up.
The third mistake is no longer important because energy regenerates at 5 min per energy. And unless you’re scoring over 60,000 points in a war that would not be important. I would assume the developers changed it to 5 mins when they added jp’s and other power ups because that made more sense for maximum jp efficiency.
Stop feeding your buildings as much as possible around level 20 and keep the leveling up as slow as possible. The yellow box on the top left keeps giving you sim bucks every 24 hours for a single commercial The items you can make are very necessary to sell and make lots of coin
I think another thing some people seem to forget (or maybe not realize) is to open the daily bonus chest that shows up with little red dot next to the SimCash. (Especially since they do a new one each 24 hours , but they don't compile for you to open if you skip out on them for a few days). Thanks for the video, can't wait to watch more from Ottawa🍁🍁Canada
I'm new and haven't watched all your vids yet, but I always love seeing how people have done their city layout and would love check yours out! And of course, always interested in Profit/Production! :)
I remember when I was 11 years old and I had opened the airport in about two weeks of playing, but i didn’t understand the game so I had no money because I would just spend spend spend and I ended up deleting this game. Now I’m 17 and wish I hadn’t deleted the game because I haven’t even opened the ship depot😔.
I agree mostly with your advice about setting a priority on what specialty items you keep in storage, but I do like to keep a few of each type in storage because they are often needed in the regional export HQs.
I'm new to the game (started 2 days ago). So this came really helpful. The trading part was most useful i think! And how to earn sim cash. I also don't like leveling up because when I did it initially, I was left without enough simuleons to do things like provide more electricity, so that really stressed me out! So leveling slow is good for ur mental health too! :) Then leveling slow and trading a lot allowed me to save and buy dept of health and a school. All my factories are upgraded at lvl 11. Its a joy to play at such pace.
the leveling up is so real, especially for beginners. the services suck as they are really expensive and since ur a beginner, u have limited coins. if i can go back in time, i would always check the things I'll get before leveling up to be more prepared.
You're absolutely right when you say that levelling is usually a bad thing. Keeping this in mind, is there a certain level where you would advise a player to park themselves at and start trading for coins before moving forward?
I think everyone should play in the way that most suits them. For me, based on in game goals I have and wanting to be in a club, I think in hindsight that once I hit level 18 I would have tried much harder to reduce the speed at which I leveled up. Sadly I think its impossible to prevent leveling while playing the game as its made, though.
I would actually put road planning as the first newbie mistake, but as we can see, you didn't plan a thing. For optimal coverage of Services (specifically Fire or Maxis Manor 22x22), a grid of four rows running 12 residences long is best. I'm only level 25 right now a couple months in, so that might kinda change when I expand into another grid towards the mountains, but eyeballing it looks like it will fit another in nicely. I totally agree with the holding back on leveling up for as long as possible, and how much harm unlocking new items and features does. I rushed up to level 15 a bit too quick and found I didn't have enough Simoleons to get all the basic services running so that hurt pretty bad for a while with scary red faces and low taxes. I might keep going to 30 just to get started on Omega stuff, but maaaan the storage limit is a real bitch. I would say, it's probably best to have five slots for each material and product able to be made. This will leave enough room to collect the expansion, Vu, and war items with relative ease as well, I think.
Thank you so much for the comments. For me, I wanted my city to develop in front of me as opposed to having a pre developed City, if that makes any sense. Thus my lack of Interest in a logical pre-planned road system. But I do agree with what you are saying.

A tip I can give to you for future vids is that you can try to simplify the video more. Maybe write down a script on a notebook or something so you aren’t making things up in the top of your head and repeating things 3-4 times. Also try to seem a bit more energetic as it could gain you a lot more views as the viewers would be more likely to check out your other videos.
Aditya Jha my thoughts exactly! He pays for some monthly allotment of SimCash and I don't know what else is included (saw it on another reply on a different comment). So that explains it, methinks! My jaw about dropped when I saw his storage! Here I was proud of myself for being able to store 75 items, and selling the items that would expand City Storage because for me, 75 is enough! Lmao!!
Good tips, thanks! I don't like skyscrapers, city becomes a jungle of buildings. I like lower size buildings, farmhouses, possibility to zoom in a little more and also the weather changes in the city just like real life.
I suggest using your sim bucks in buying expansion for your production buildings for example the one making the hammer you could save a lot of time not logging every time one of the hammers are finish so yeah also make nails every time you make metal dont sell unprocessed goods like wood metal plastic etc make your seed into vegetables then ofcourse after you made them sell them btw do not level up it would only bring more expenses than you can handle i suggest save up money first and plan ahead I am only level 15 and I am planning on having all of transportation buildings first before leveling up edit: wrong send
I wish I had never added the train and am now wondering if I can remove it. I get asked for bolts, hats etc. It takes forever to earn enough to purchase those items and everytime you purchase the price increases. We should just be able to manufacture the needed items. Whoever thought this up should be FIRED!!
It sounds like the holiday themed factories then. Just another thing that makes the game more complicated while actually adding nothing. But it does increase the chance people willing to put up with it will spend money, and thats what its all about. The next cash grab. 🤬🤬🤬
I like the train but I feel you with added items that you just don't need to upgrade and do deliveries, etc. A tutorial for the mass transit train system would be great too.
I only put the train in as I was asked for bolts several times and I got tired cancelling out and waiting for 30 mins each time. I'd have never put in the train otherwise. Even now I just run it whenever I can just so I can buy bolts when needed.
I agree, lvl up slowly. I've been at lvl 24 for a few months. Unlocked all land/beach/mountains with ease and have nearly 600 storage. 100% happy, population over 700k, over 7million simoleons and 5k simcash. I may never lvl up again

I like all the detail, but I think no one would want to sit here for 22 minutes on topics that can be summed up in less than 3-4 minutes. If you were to keep up this long time, try to put more entertainment into it to make it seem more appealing and so less people click off. I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just suggesting. Thank you for understanding.
This is true, but then just as with your comment, there would be a lot left unexplained. And then I would have lots of questions like why or what do you mean or how and I would have to either make another video or I would have to respond over and over to answer the questions. My preference is to make everything clear the first time. And then I only have to deal with people complaining about my video being too long or too thorough. Thank you for the comment though.
I'm sorry if you felt that i was being unfair, but the title of your video suggests that you are going to tell us something we are all doing wrong! If it was aimed at beginners in the game, then you should have called it, 'a beginner's guide'. I then went on to add a couple of useful hints, to further help your viewers, but instead of thanking me, you implied that I'm not a nice person, and that I have no respect for new players. I am very helpful to new players, as are everyone else in my club, we assist them with upgrade items, war items etc, to help them progress in the game. We give hints and tips when needed, and have helped build up many new players cities. My comments about the war were based on my observations and experience, what i said, regarding some of the comments made to your video, were not aimed at new players, they were aimed at those who have obviously not taken any notice of the games tutorials, as when you progress through the game, everything is explained to them, but i apologise if I offended anyone. May i just say that if you are going to post videos then people are going to critique them, So take the criticism rather than getting defensive, and attacking people.
Also i avoided levelling right from the start, as soon as i hit level ten i stopped building buildings XD i hate having so much stuff to make and find.
I've been playing SimCity Buildit since before the COM started, and I was hoping this video was gonna give me some real hints, and not just explain the normal gameplay. I'm also astonished by some of the replies to it, i.e. how on earth have people been playing it if they didn't even know how to go to global shop, or know how to keep their Sims happy? It's not exactly a difficult game to play and everything is explained in the tutorial. No wonder some of the club's we fight in the wars, seem to not have a clue about what to do. Which totally spoils a good battle, especially when they just hide under their shields for over 24 hours of it. If you enter a battle, you should then fight, instead of wasting the other clubs time and resources. HINT 1 - how to keep your city happiness at 100% by filling in any patch of unused land with roads, this will make your Sims happier, as more roads than buildings makes it less congested with traffic, and you also shouldn't get any red roads. HINT 2 repairing after a war attack, if you don't have the items required, just click the green hard hat to change the items it wants, as this only takes 5 minutes, which is a lot quicker than waiting to make the missing items or looking on global shop for them. HINT 3 - Always have plenty of nails during a war, for quick repairs, so you can get back to attacking faster, ( i usually have around 25/30 nails in my storage). I hope that helped anyone!
I'm guessing even though you've been playing for a while you actually have very limited awareness of what a lot of the player base is like. I would also believe that you are one of the typical players that just treat new players with disrespect and disdain and don't help anyone that doesn't understand something. Perhaps you've been playing so long you forgot what it was like to be a new player? I also strongly disagree with you that the tutorial has thorough explanation of the game play. It also appears that you think everyone should play based on what you want them to do instead of what they want to do. So I hope that helps you.
Very helpful tips, I for one appreciate you sharing them! Didn't know it was possible to change repair materials requirements, good to know and thanks again! FWIW, I am a relatively new player (especially when it comes to war), and I did not feel disrespected.
Omg. I am NEW to this game and I am now seeing this video. I NEED almost all your items in your storage. Lolol. The market keeps selling spice, burgers, light bulbs and fries ... uggghhhh and producing some items take up to 6 hours.

You must have... over 10 million people in your city by now! lol Or maybe 10 million per each city since there's 4 more cities now. Nice vid man! Keep going! You're doing good!
This is so hard to watch! You take 7 damn minutes to explain advertising which should really take you 60 seconds at most. I couldn’t watch the rest, it’s just so painful!!
masjwar I did find another channel, one that wasn’t so long and full of unnecessary crap. Also the uploader doesn’t whine like a b*tch when criticised. 🙂
It's ok. That's why you like short videos. You are too used to bullshit, lies, and no explanation or follow up. Merry Christmas although all the other peeps would probably have preferred all the links to your amazing finds. No presents for them.
The global trade HQ is the most tedious part of the game by far. Mine is always full of hamburgers and pizza. I almost never produce these myself as they are so easy to find in the trade HQ. Why do so many players keep producing and selling these things?
Most high priced items get purchased by Daniel after the 48 hour (I think. Or maybe its 72 hour. I haven't played in years and forgot) window has expired.
Good advice. But, what looks like a mistake to the programmers, can be a strategy. Sometimes, but not usually. I've played this since it was a cartridge you plugged into an old school gaming unit. Just aged myself 😅 :)
I get the specialty of expansion, but the items get so much harder to find. You almost have to hoard, unless you have sim bucks. I mean 6 dinars when you only tend to find 1 every once in a blue moon? Just my opinion though...but I get the reason behind it.
Everything definitely gets exponentially harder, and almost all of it is tied to the level you are. Which is why one bit of advice I always give is to try not to level past level 18 any more, or faster, than you have to. Good luck in the game. If you have any questions I'll definitely try to answer them.
I recommend always focusing on storage upgrade until you max out (I think its 700 max now, but I'm not maxed lol). The more storage you have the easier everything else is. Temper that advice with whatever you are doing and prioritize what's most important at the time. That's my best advice.
Nice movie, with every extra region, you can add 20 more storage, i have 4, so i have 680 storage, including mayor pass 685 for 71 days. Storage is the most important upgrade at all times!
I disagree. I think that if you maintain your storage at about 70 for level 16, it should be fine as I suggest frequently emptying out your storage into the trade depot to sell
What do you think about holding off on getting the airport and the vu tower opened? When might be a good time to open these? By a certain level? By a certain amount of storage space?
My advice is not to spend your coins on Vu tower. You spend 40k just to destroy your city with a disaster, and then rebuild it for a couple of golden keys. It’s useless in my opinion.
But sometimes, you'll have assignments that requires you to destroy your city, rebuild it, and it gives you 2k to 3k points in my experience for the contest of mayors. I'd say it helps a lot when you want to win grand prize.
Thank you for the info... there is a bit of nonsense out there that I struggle to follow along with... Been playing for 2 weeks, sitting at about 94,000 population, and all is happy, 100%... But now that everything is balanced out "FINALLY!!!" ... I am now afraid to add one more plot of residential, lol, fearing it will upset everything, this is crazy... and I do have a question, every tax cycle (1 to 3 hours? I think) the second the coin hovers above the building, and I click it ,I only get as of the 94,000 population and change, 135 simolians, per cycle.. Shouldn't that be more, sure, if I don't collect it for half a day or so, it is a much bigger pile of money... thank you for the info... I hit the sub button, will watch your.content later tonight after work today...
In regards to the "messing everything up" cycle... I totally get it. I made a video to help combat that exact issue (check out "Balancing Growth With Service Demand"). In regards to the tax revenue. I'm used to games allowing you to pick your tax revenue percentage (with 20% being a common upper level limit and starting number). Here you have no say, nor does it appear based on that criteria in any way. I don't know what you are basing your "taxes aren't enough" question on, but when I started playing I felt that way and this was why. That's why I'm adding this. The tax revenue seems unpleasantly low, but it is what it is. Wait till you start regional cities and find the population generates nothing. Lol.
Informative for those unseasoned to the Buildit world. Good advice for fresh noobies (beginners). Again, this should be common knowledge for the more experienced user.
Bueller... Bueller... man it felt like I was watching an infomercial. Too long too boring I think I’ll take my chances and make mistakes. Good luck with your progress though
I realized leveling up sucked when the market place was nothing but hamburgers and nothing else... I want a big population but with that it requires leveling up so now like what you said is i am concern about increasing my storage to the size of yours.... im only at 175... long way to go... and the assignments i have only been in the 2nd place once it is harder when you level up so i want to be first so I dont level up... I want to say were I am and maybe get first a couple of times but i hate it when it says to do an update on the residential area... so i am going to level up soon...
I collect specialty items because they're so scarce. They only appear once in a blue moon and you need to be quick enough to purchase them before someone finds it. Especially the storage and land ones which are very high demand. That's why I hoard and be as selfish as possible.
To make the most money and fast make Burgers. If they don’t sell straight away they will be auto bought in a few days. I made a absolute ton of them and I’ve got 15 million simoleons in the bank.
Very helpful! Learned a lot of stuff I didn't know even though I have been playing for a couple months and on level 56. Please don't stop with the advice!!
Geez I'm dying here. Too long winded. Just name the 5 then list them briefly rather than taking about how EA selects what users we see in the market, etc

I'm level 28 , above half ,
@DMJ Mr.icicle I haven't recently tho 😅 the group I was in became inactive 🥺
Yeah I decided to stick to lvl 24 bc its useless to go higher than that object just get way to hard to craft
Just a little info for newbies:
Don't just sell anything to the sims that request items.
Check to see how much you would be able to sell it for in the market.
This will help you avoid loosing money on your hard earned resources, and it can give you more money than what you would get in the market.
For example:
I got an offer to sell 2 metal for 30. In the market I would have only gotten 20 for 2, so I made an extra 10.
On the flip side they wanted 6 nails for 260, but selling 6 in market would give me 480.
So CHECK your sim offers before you agree.
So true. Good advice.
Yep! And if you buy police dept. you won’t get it fix this crap 💩
@@markdavidson1835 you wont get what?
@@thehonestchristian492 the police dept.👮wtf ? Never got it !
TL DR -
1) Advertising makes not just the one item, but your whole depot available to global.
If you keep collecting multiple things like land and beach at the same time, it clogs your storage.)
5) Leveling up is a bad idea because while you unlock new items, you are now required to produce them as well.
I do feel your summation, while covering the basic points of the video, can leave players who don't understand (for whatever reason) what is stated still in a state of confusion no matter how much they reread this.

This is so important. Levelling up is a nightmare. It makes everything harder. When you needed a few nails to build, now they ask for corn or cream. Also the contest of mayors is now harder.
I have a few questions.
1. Is the Vu tower important/beneficial? I feel like it’s a waste of 40k at my level (28)
2. How do you avoid levelling? Would it be wiser to just stick to making and selling products and buying up more land space?
I agree. With you agreeing with me. So I agree with both of us :)
I agree with the levelling up. Just went 14 to 15 and a load of problems arose that I couldn't afford to sort out. Maxing things before levelling makes it easier in the long run.
This app is perfect for quarantine 😂 I've been playing this for a while now

Why is everyone complaining about that he is explaining so long I find it useful and you can see before you click in on video how long it is.
I believe it's both.
Point of correction:
It is not only your club members that can access you shop if you don't advertise your items, your facebook friends who play the game can also access your shop.
Thanks for the good work.
Thanks for the support and agreement. I did mention that FB friends can access the depot as well (approximately at 5:03) but it was brief and in passing.
masjwar Tbh...i wouldn't mind browsing through your depo whenever i need items, how about adding you on fb? Your shop is huge and usefull buddy. 😜

We're not mayors, we're real estate developers. I miss pre-Origin Sim City.
Been playing for a while now and the best thing to do is:
Always have metal, wood and rubber in production.

Storage was raised to 600 right after Club Wars started. I wish a separate storage for War items, like OMEGA items, was available.
The third mistake is no longer important because energy regenerates at 5 min per energy. And unless you’re scoring over 60,000 points in a war that would not be important. I would assume the developers changed it to 5 mins when they added jp’s and other power ups because that made more sense for maximum jp efficiency.
If this Vid too long..
Just use 2x Speed
Stop feeding your buildings as much as possible around level 20 and keep the leveling up as slow as possible.
The yellow box on the top left keeps giving you sim bucks every 24 hours for a single commercial
The items you can make are very necessary to sell and make lots of coin
I think another thing some people seem to forget (or maybe not realize) is to open the daily bonus chest that shows up with little red dot next to the SimCash. (Especially since they do a new one each 24 hours , but they don't compile for you to open if you skip out on them for a few days). Thanks for the video, can't wait to watch more from Ottawa🍁🍁Canada
Glad you liked it. Making one on production and profit soon. :)
I'm new and haven't watched all your vids yet, but I always love seeing how people have done their city layout and would love check yours out! And of course, always interested in Profit/Production! :)

Then leveling slow and trading a lot allowed me to save and buy dept of health and a school. All my factories are upgraded at lvl 11. Its a joy to play at such pace.
I'm glad it's working out for you. :)
Shit I started a week ago and I'm on level 12th and struggling with money😐😐
the leveling up is so real, especially for beginners. the services suck as they are really expensive and since ur a beginner, u have limited coins. if i can go back in time, i would always check the things I'll get before leveling up to be more prepared.
This used to be a good game, but too much hackers plus the storage item is hard to get unless you play 2 accounts and keep another one in lower level.

Me too I have not played it in years
You're absolutely right when you say that levelling is usually a bad thing.
Oh man, I don't have the patience to watch this video.
Thank you, however, for having the patience to take time to let me know you don't have the patience to watch.
The26 me too like OHMYGOD please talk faster or just get to the point
You're killin me with your pace at explaining things. I'm not gonna make it. I'm out!
I hope you find a channel you like. Good luck in the game.

You've got a damn large storage. And the keys.....fuck
I suggest using your sim bucks in buying expansion for your production buildings
for example the one making the hammer you could save a lot of time not logging every time one of the hammers are finish so yeah
also make nails every time you make metal
dont sell unprocessed goods like wood metal plastic etc
make your seed into vegetables
then ofcourse after you made them sell them
btw do not level up it would only bring more expenses than you can handle
i suggest save up money first and plan ahead
I am only level 15 and I am planning on having all of transportation buildings first before leveling up
edit: wrong send
Epic London buildings are small and look great!
Good job, I think that the most serious mistake I made at the first 15 levels is fhat i built all the factories in the beach
can't you just move them elsewhere, though?
Krystal Morrison is right, just press and hold the factory and relocate elsewhere.
I may never lvl up again
idk why i am at lvl 31 with only 194 k pop. its so frustrating
how many resident do you have??
btw how do you get special items faster such as locker,bar,camera@cctv?

Oh I see.
Oops... let me title this.

My apologies. You are amazing. Thanks for the awesome reply and insight.
Also i avoided levelling right from the start, as soon as i hit level ten i stopped building buildings XD i hate having so much stuff to make and find.
Really helpful! I hope they pay you for this video. You helped me understand the game so much better . I hope they are compensating you!
No I just do it to be helpful. Glad it had some benefit for you. :)

The global trade HQ is the most tedious part of the game by far. Mine is always full of hamburgers and pizza. I almost never produce these myself as they are so easy to find in the trade HQ. Why do so many players keep producing and selling these things?
Most people inaccurately presume that because the sell price is so high, they are the best product in the game to make simoleons with.
Yes, they think they can sell them at a high price then they sit unsold forever almost. Supply and demand.
Most high priced items get purchased by Daniel after the 48 hour (I think. Or maybe its 72 hour. I haven't played in years and forgot) window has expired.
Be concise in your explanation. You took 5 mins to explain Advertise button! Don't need to repeat a description 20 different sentence structure.
Sorry. I do. Some people like it some don't. I can see you don't.

Global trade is the most important building in my life
Good advice. But, what looks like a mistake to the programmers, can be a strategy. Sometimes, but not usually. I've played this since it was a cartridge you plugged into an old school gaming unit. Just aged myself 😅 :)
It would be nice if they allowed you to change the default for advertising to unchecked.
Please continue, You may be a huge help to some players, but try and advise with new players too, it would be a huge help to small and big players.
SincereFour9906 an & and are not interchangeable 😉

I get the specialty of expansion, but the items get so much harder to find. You almost have to hoard, unless you have sim bucks. I mean 6 dinars when you only tend to find 1 every once in a blue moon? Just my opinion though...but I get the reason behind it.
Everything definitely gets exponentially harder, and almost all of it is tied to the level you are.
Which is why one bit of advice I always give is to try not to level past level 18 any more, or faster, than you have to.
Good luck in the game. If you have any questions I'll definitely try to answer them.

Any advice on storage strategy? Mainly a good number to keep for long timer items?
I recommend always focusing on storage upgrade until you max out (I think its 700 max now, but I'm not maxed lol). The more storage you have the easier everything else is.
Temper that advice with whatever you are doing and prioritize what's most important at the time. That's my best advice.
Let me add you as a friend 😂 there’s a lot of stuff in your depot I desperately need LOL
Damn, such a nice and soothing voice! Would love to have some audiobooks read by you to listen to :D
Thanks
My self stopp leveling in 19, i have 380 storage level, and u right is more easy to manage in war time, faster recovery, easy to fullfill war delivery
How funny, I see my name in your contest of mayors ranking screen, hah! I'm EmDogs Acres 😜
Every time people make hate comments on this video this man just roast their ass so hard.
lol
Thank you for the info... there is a bit of nonsense out there that I struggle to follow along with... Been playing for 2 weeks, sitting at about 94,000 population, and all is happy, 100%... But now that everything is balanced out "FINALLY!!!" ... I am now afraid to add one more plot of residential, lol, fearing it will upset everything, this is crazy... and
I do have a question, every tax cycle (1 to 3 hours?
Lol.
Just earn cash by selling item from making.. like.. hammers ,nails..
Informative for those unseasoned to the Buildit world. Good advice for fresh noobies (beginners). Again, this should be common knowledge for the more experienced user.
I've found that nothing is common knowledge until you've learned it, and the only way to learn it is to have someone (or something) present it to you.
masjwar u sir are correct... And thanks for sharing... #WISDOM
Bueller... Bueller... man it felt like I was watching an infomercial. Too long too boring I think I’ll take my chances and make mistakes. Good luck with your progress though
Good thing you watched one of my short videos. Good luck.
watch it at speed 2x
I realized leveling up sucked when the market place was nothing but hamburgers and nothing else... I want a big population but with that it requires leveling up so now like what you said is i am concern about increasing my storage to the size of yours.... im only at 175... long way to go... and the assignments i have only been in the 2nd place once it is harder when you level up so i want to be first so I dont level up... I want to say were I am and maybe get first a couple of times but i hate it when it says to do an update on the residential area... so i am going to level up soon...
Yep that sums it up in a nutshell.
5 minutes in this guy is still talking about advertising... My head hurts
Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry the information overwhelmed you.
Uh guys I’m a SimCity mayor CALM DOWN NOW dmitrt2211 is right why is Everybody is complaining?
I collect specialty items because they're so scarce. They only appear once in a blue moon and you need to be quick enough to purchase them before someone finds it. Especially the storage and land ones which are very high demand. That's why I hoard and be as selfish as possible.
To make the most money and fast make Burgers. If they don’t sell straight away they will be auto bought in a few days. I made a absolute ton of them and I’ve got 15 million simoleons in the bank.
I believe Mayor Daniel buys them after 48 hours from when you post it.
And all you ever see on the market is damn burgers, pizzas and lamps. Can never get anything u need asap like for great projects...
Very helpful! Learned a lot of stuff I didn't know even though I have been playing for a couple months and on level 56. Please don't stop with the advice!!
Thanks. Any topic suggestions?
This guy goes on and on and on and on WOW just get to the point
Oh good, you liked it
XD
Geez I'm dying here. Too long winded. Just name the 5 then list them briefly rather than taking about how EA selects what users we see in the market, etc
Why would you put something up for sale if you didn’t want to put it on sale???????
So other people in your club can get it.
@@jsquared1013 are you dumb?
@@thankingyou2825 hahaha
@@thankingyou2825 there are 2 markets. Basically.
Club market for players in your "club" and global market.
Global market is available to anyone. So top players will keep their rss on club market to keep rss within the club.
It's a minor issue but advertising it might make trades.... awkward.
dumass haha
I pay for Sim Cash primarily to expand the city’s border.
Did you really just spend over 5 minutes explaining how the depo works. Anyone over level 2 knows how it works jesus
Perhaps my exposure to players is significantly higher than yours. My experience has taught me that you are absolutely incorrect. Your warm wishes and constructive comments are greatly appreciated though.
