Just got it here in EU for roughly 850USD. Fair price considering big portion of the back and the sides for armrests are aluminum.
- It looks nice.
- Good adjustability.
- Excellent lumbar support!
- Mesh on the seat seems to be a good quality. It is on the harder side as any other mesh, not comfy but ok, no hard edges. Not my first mesh chair and last one lasted 5 years without any signs of use. What is interesting is that mesh on the back is more soft, it is really nice. I wonder if it's going to last as long as the one on the seat. I like the breathability and its easy to maintain.
- However and it is a big however. Look a the guy on this video very closely and notice how the headrest is on his neck level. Beware of that! Even the highest position of this headrest makes it hanging pretty low. I am 5.8"/176cm and I wish it could go a little bit higher. You can just not attach it though and it will be fine. Chair looks ok without this sound cover or headrest or both. If you are taller and good headrest is a must I would not recommend it.
As a recent owner of the Destrier, I can attest that all the core parts are built like a tank, and it is super comfortable. It’s now my daily office chair. Just a note for corner desk users, the arms are set WIDE, so you won’t be able to tuck right in close to your desk if it’s a 90-degree corner desk setup (if the arms are extended above the desk height).
Highly recommended, it’s a fantastic, strongly built chair. The mesh would be the most comfortable all-mesh construction I have ever tried (I’m normally a foam seat kinda person). S-tier for sure. Well done Asus 👍🏻
I really need this level of highly adjustable ergonomic char for my remote work environment.
I love all the ASUS gaming gears designs and features, only the issue for me is that logo… Gaming is not only the purpose of my personal desk space, so a little more less aggressive looking options would be highly appreciated.
That’s why I have chosen ROG Zephyrus G15 laptop (white) and I am extremely satisfied with its looking and the super high performance at same time.
I will buy one if you can guarantee that there will be spare parts available for purchase, Im not throwing out 800 just to throw the chair away in a year if something breaks.
For what it’s worth one of the two knobs for lumbar support adjustment stopped working. They sent me the entire new backseat and didn’t ask to send the one with faulty lumbar back.

Until you release info of the materials used fully especially the seat, back mesh and assure theres replacement parts for it, I'll wait for BTODtv reviews of the chair since this is a fairly big investment, and 10+ years warranty if this going to be $800-1k+. Other than that you can always get used Herman Miller or Steelcase chair which I prefer atm.

hey there you show at 4:53 how to use mobile when setting in the chair but you have not notes that the small pad you have in front of your arms those are for the elbow so i wonder why you did not use them in the video

I have one of these and the rock tension knob is barely noticeable. I'm not sure if it's working a little or not working at all. Kind of a disappointment

Just as the video imply, it's something we sit on most of the day other than the bed we sleep on. I too rather go with herman miller which is much more worthwhile investment
My right armrest is super loose in the slide feature. I wish those locked, there's hardly a click there anymore and will move forward and back by just moving the chair. Any tips on how to fix this. If this is an issue, they'll need to look at making fast swap armrest covers like secret lab. It's driving me nuts. Hasnt been a full month yet.

Hmmm a lot of info, but no info on what the material is where you actually sit. The butt part is super important for a chair no? If you can’t sit for hours why invest in this?
for my taste it is very comfortable , but I'm having issues with lumbar support as 182 cm height , I can't fit in super properly , I more feel like if you are having a height equal / less than 180 cm , it seems like a perfect chair , or I just couldn't set the chair for myself somehow , trying all evening :D
ROG is good product but unfortunately its very very late launching in Indonesia for new product. Im ROG Collector and i can show you how many laptop ROG i have include accessories. Im waiting to buy another ROG Zephyrus Duo 16 RTX 4090 because right now i have zephyrus duo 16 rtx 3070ti but until now this product not come to Indonesia. Singapore already availalbe for new Zephyrus duo 16. Indonesia is very big country and im wondering why ASUS not make Indonesia as prorirty for us to receive new product. MSI already has Titan RTX 4090 in Indonesia. Please put your attention

Not sure why they lower the price so much here, but I like it. Amazon MX had them at a similar price, but they ran out of stock.

Yeah these chairs are more ergonomic than anything secret lab and fantasy lab have. The lumbar on this chair alone is light years ahead of herman Miller. I've had both secret and fantasy lab titan and big and tall and I'm 280lbs and this chair is by far superior in the ergo dept... for me that was important because I work and game from home, but the fantasy lab was awesome for a few hours. Very comfy on the tush, these are harder than secret lab, as any mesh seat will be. However, my sciatica is basically gone after almost a month in this chair. I do miss the other chairs for kicked back gaming though. Not as comfy with this one. But it forces you to have good posture.
sorry SUPER late with this comment the chair that I have is a fantasy Lab and I still love it! had it for about 8 or 9 months and it still feels like the day I got it! I'm 280 lbs and I literally sleep in this chair fully reclined hope this helps bought it from amazon! like I said for about 260 ish, have a good one! 🫡 @@dubekone
