Yeah, Fair call - They feel good! they are velocity sensitive with a nice synth-style keyboard action. If you're familiar with the Keylab Essential Mk2, then they feel pretty much identical however, if you need something a little more premium try the Keylab Mk2 range.
@@Noisegate they feel good? And then you compare them to the keylab essential mk2? Well thats where opinions come in, its not what i would call a “good” action.. thats in general why i stick to the high end, everything else in general starts irritating me. These reviews in general miss the point of view from a keyboardist.
Thanks for the great overview. This helps me a lot. I'm leaning towards a transition to an Arturia hybrid/software based solution, versus a new hardware-based synth. I'm working on getting the "1990s" out of my system by publishing a collection of OLD material on my TH-cam channel (th-cam.com/channels/CVmy7o71G7hRXaEJZKuF-g.html), and then will figure out what to do after that. My old music was produced and recorded around 1992 with a TASCAM 4-track cassette recorder, MIDI sequencing software running on a Microsoft DOS PC, an old MidiVerb digital signal processor, and a used Roland D-10 MIDI synthesizer that was first on the market around 1988. The Arturia hybrid/software based solution looks like an exciting way forward for me! Thanks again!
Not even close to MAUDIO Oxygen Pro. Essential is lacking a lot of features like aftertouch or keyboard split/parts/zones known from regular KeyLab where on Oxygen you can have 4 overlaping (or not) zones on different midi channels and play 4 different instruments like bass + piano + strings. This Essential version is simply very poor for that price tag.
2:18 can you please explain how the pad colours are changing when you rotate the wheel
Got a simple question but just can't find an answer. After activating a clip on Bank A, how can you deactivate it?
does the interface work to display Maschine presets on the screen controllable by the main wheel as it now does with Ableton?
not a single word on the most important part of a keyboard controller? the key quallity?

No aftertouch , no xy pad , no joystick , personally never use arps, chords, scale mode since I know how to play piano
