I bought that Controller a couple of weeks ago with a SSL 2+ Interface for my home studio. It is a light piece of Plastic at the first view BUT .. i like the workflow in the DAW and the Analog Lab Software. A realy well Offer in that Price Range!

Recently sold my keylab 61 and currently using my native instruments s61 to run keylab software that works well except i don't have the slider function with it,the beat was dope as usual with studio one which is my DAW of choice very kool the way you put the beat together with it, im on the fence as far as getting this keyboard but lets see with the future hold great review

MAN!! I like these. I purchased the Arturia Sound Explorers Collection so this will work well with my preferred Native Instruments gear but I'm on the fence at the moment because it seems Native Intrument with come out with a new piece of gear.

Every time I go to purchase new gear from one company, the other guys come out with new stuff. I was about to pull the trigger on a Push 2 had it in the cart and I get and email about the Push three.
I don't need this midi keyboard but I do own the latest version of Studio One and everyone else could understand that the keyboard addiction is real. Thank you for the video, I'll be losing some sleep until I own this one. 😂Thumbs up

I use (and love Studio One). I wonder with the sliders on the MK3… could they be assigned to specific mixer console channels/buses in studio one?

this is dope what I like most of all is it just works you load up analog lab and you can tweak things without having to map yourself. I almost want to get rid of my mpk249 for it
Trade the 249 for this arturia keyboard?? I have the mpk249, as well as Arturia V collection 8 and Pigments, and there's no way I would trade it for this arturia keylab.

Thx, the reason i asked because nothing against logic but i feel apple taking advantage of ppl pockets, making u buy a apple laptop to use logic which is ok but the prices for those laptops are rediculous. Im a dell inspirion fan anyway so im probably going the presonus route plus i also may invest in presonus studiolive mixing board. Thx

@@victorbmadslund We love it. I have a small issue with some random midi signals that i have msg Arturia about. I think related to the Ableton and some of the other software integration. With Reaper I not get any issues but i also not done any detailed integration.

is the keybed the same as the essential MKII or is it different now?
Am very beginnerish in putting down music thru DAW - from the Midwest. Does the Essential MK3 produce a better sound than the Keylab MK2? The sound you're making out of it sounds really good. Other TH-cams' on the MK2 don't sound so good. I've already spent $20 bucks on an earnest hold for the MK2, and it's making me lose some sleep. The MK2 invoices out at $689. This Essential MK3 comes in somewhere over $200 plus dollars. I'm hearing that, out of the box, the MK2 after-touch is barely noticeable, but with so overwrite adjustments, it can sound better. The Essential MK3 doesn't have after-touch but I can probably get by without it. What I like about the Arturia is all the software that comes with them.
I see that the PADS have aftertouch, but what about the keys? I can't find anything stating this is a feature. What say you? Thanks for the great review!

Question. So if im using multiple tracks, each track has a different sound (patch) I would insert a new Analog Lab as the "Instrument" on each track as you normally would with different plugin instruments? If so, does this become more cpu intensive?

I had the Essential Keylab 2 before. It felt very cheap. Unless thats changed, you're really paying for the functionality with the Arturia plugins

@@BoloDaProducer Good luck, I can’t see a way to do it and I’ve read through what limited instructions there are. Think they’ve made a big mistake if you can’t use midi faders and the like.

😂 man I was dying with that first beat. I sure wish they would move the pads to the right and the sliders to the left. I don't know anyone that plays pads with their left hand. I'm left handed and don't even do that.
Same thing I was thinking about the drum pads. I also wish the screen was adjustable like you could flip it up and a angle.

Paid $209 at Guitar center earlier this week. I wouldn't want to pay a dime more for it. :) Worth having, but if you are serious, save up for the full MK3. Skip the Essential plastic toy keyboard.

It looks to be cheap it sounds to be cheap yet it is expensive. An Oxygen 61 pro is way better with lots of features this Casio cannot display at all. Not even after touch, small sound , and no weighted keys. I woudn't even bother to unpack it. Straight into the bin
a lot of people say that oxygen pro has a problem with pitch wheel (delays).
Those boomy/crappy 808 kick sounds and those stupid hi-hats lines always ruin all, can you guys know something different that always the same beat?... creative B-
