This is a lesson filled movie. Teaches us all what our grandparents went through! How much they fought for us to live a better free life. I wish people would realize how much blacks went through & how we all need to stick together & END this black on black crime!

Hold up, don't go dragging black on black crime, if it hadn't been program in black,
It wouldn't never had to be that way, it started doing slave where they had to make our people snitch on their own black's.
And some of it still going on today and that's why it causes fights, and killing.
That's why we need to sit our young black boy's and girls down and teach them where and how it started.
Even adults need to be teach a thing or two, cause they're worse then the younger one's.

The movie is about white on black crime...that needs to stop, as it has been going on since our ancestors were forced here (those that were).
The movie is great to watch with family.

White people always say that as though they better than anyone else and that they don't hurt each other, I know that it makes white's fell better by saying that phase, but white on white crime is real but y'all don't like to say it . Evil can be in all hearts be they black or white.

The shouldn't have our people cooking for them, and nurses their babies our milk when our Ancestors nurse their own babies.

Why would you be embarrassed of your skin color due to the actions of others? For every person you sew doing wrong there are more doing the right thing. God made you that way and he does not make mistakes. Every race has a population of people doing wrong, just look at the news. Horrible things being done to each other, many times same race tragedies. My point is love the skin you are in & be the best person you can. Other people's actions don't define you, me or anyone else.

As I think of the times when Paulette needed the bathroom, this movie teaches how people got into trouble for using the wrong bathroom. You only get into trouble for breaking the law when a mature adult finds out! Public bathrooms should only be separated by gender because men and women sometimes use bathrooms differently, and that has nothing to do with race!

She paused, and with a troubled voice said, "I guess they had to draw schoool district lines and it comes between you boys' homes. Proverbs 13:24 KJV - 24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
Proverbs 23:13-14 KJV- 13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.
Do not be afraid to whip your children. Satan of course wants to raise a weak generation of evil doers if you spare your rod from them because they are children then you are inviting sin into them. I can speak from experience that my whippings made me feel hurt but in the Long Run they spared me from much sin later on. Punishments are healthy when they are provoked by wrong doing it’s fine to punish your children when they are doing evil. Be always in prayer about what you choose to believe.

Innocent children have no problem getting along until their parents instill hatred in them. The real culprit is the government. Always has been and still is.😢

Racism is not going anywhere as long as people exist. The objective is to learn from the past and to strive for a better tomorrow where ALL people are judged by content of character, not skin color. To say everyone is trying to be racist is not true and it creates further division. I'm definitely not and I have white friends that I know are not racist. We need to stop grouping people in boxes based off their skin. All blk ppl ain't this and all white ppl ain't that. We seem more divided today than it was when I was a child. I wish my daughter could grow up during my childhood so could see how diverse we were w/ no major problems. I never assumed because someone was white, poor, country or whatever that they were automatically racist. Getting to know folks will surprise how much alike we truly are in many areas.
