I’ve always felt that during the summer I expect so much for myself but end up feeling let down. I want to be able to go back to school next year with so many things to say about my summer. until then i’ll live my summer vicariously through other youtubers
I don't know why I clicked on this video being that I am much older and this talking head type content is something I would not usually watch but something told me I should, and I am glad I did.
First off, I am impressed that you mentioned all the creative, productive and mind inspiring things you were packing for your day at the park but a smartphone wasn't even listed [granted you were probably using it to record the vlog anyways but that's different]. It was so refreshing to see that in today's generational social climate, and that level of priorities is something I can honestly respect in a young person.
As with most days, this morning I did the same thing as you when I went to the beach just to sit in the sun to read and draw, contemplate and recharge a bit, I happily left my phone home.
Also I can relate to your shift to introvert-ness. I was the same and as time went on I found being alone and doing what "I" love in daily life creatively or domestically to really balance the mind and soul.
There comes a time when we realize that happiness starts with ones self. Sometimes we feel we need to be accepted by others terms but that only leads to NOT being ourselves.
Take care Sofia, stay grounded and keep feeding that beautiful soul of yours.
