this vid was more of a chit chat vid more than it was a vlog but I showed a general idea of what I like to do in the summer on days I spend alone

being alone is looked down on a lot and pitied a lot but honestly it has to be the most free feeling ever. you can do anything and everything to the best of your own drum and you never have to argue or worry about whether other people want to eat the same food as you :] no but honestly i love that i finally have control when i’m alone as i’ve always been a horrible people pleaser. now the only person i have to please and take care of us myself

i love this, i have friends to hang out with, but i honestly want to spend the summer by myself. i’m actually pretty envious of people who can stand in their solitude and not have to bother with maintaining draining friendships.

There was a teacher whom didn't believe in the existence of God, one day he asked his students, do you see God?

when you mentioned enjoying a “simple life.” it’s so true… i feel like i compare myself to others w how their life is so exciting or even spontaneous, i honestly get jealous when i have nothing going on... also in all honesty it’s kinda scary to come to terms w doing things alone. but im glad i came across this video, i really wanna learn how to be more independent and appreciate myself during the times im by myself. in general i cant wait to figure myself out

I wish this video was there four years ago, when I spent the summer with literally no contact except my parents. I was severely depressed. Nonetheless thank you for the video and for showing that solitude can be a good thing.

I felt like I could never talk about the journal rotation but you just made me feel so seen oh my gosh, you understand me. ESPECIALLY with separating each journal for it’s different purpose !!!

ive always spent my summer mostly alone and i find it so peaceful and i do sometimes feel lonely but then i remember how stressful it was to he around people and i enjoy it again but i love this video thank you
yes i agree, social anxiety is a bihhh sometimes and makes it hard to have a social battery, alone time is the best way to recharge

I spend most of my time alone, few years ago i was feeling very sad and anxious trying to please everyone but i learned to love myself and to enjoy my own company. I try to do something fun and productive like learning languages, and as a product i have learned spanish and english now im learning german
wow!! i’m actually learning italian now so that’s very fitting hahah but yes once you get used to it, it becomes such a sacred thing to be alone

i can completely relate to this. this was exactly me last summer and is why i was left to spend the summer alone. social anxiety is a tough thing to battle with, but truly allowing yourself time alone to rediscover yourself and make yourself your own best friend really goes a long way. i hope that helped🫶🏼🫶🏼
I'm also spending summer alone this year and I found this video to be so relaxing and relatable. It get can get hard trying to be motivated and productive but the most important thing for me is not to bet myself up too much. We're not superhuman and sometimes u just need autopilot days to get back to the productive days. Loving urself all the while

I watched this bc this year I'm a lonely teen spending her summer break in a little coast town at Spain and that has no idea abt what to do or how to feel abt it. I'm at my 16 and spending my summer alone, all my friends are spending their summer breaks un another city and I miss then so much, but I can't see them, so I feel like this is the perfect video rn. Ever since covid I honestly stopped hanging out with people over summer. My friends are all either working or traveling or doing dance camps and stuff but I have nothing and it’s honestly a beautiful thing. I’m typically crazy busy and social 24/7 during the school year so summer is my way of detoxing and just working on me. Also, do you have a goodreads?

this video is comforting because i have an extreme fear of being alone. whenever i am left alone i feel lonely, no matter what and its killing me. i used to be fine with it but this year i somehow started to feel alive only when im with other people so being alone is a struggle now :(

I have very heavy social anxiety so being by myself has always felt comforting in a way, but that being said summer is known for hanging out with friends and being with people a lot so it’s hard to have fun without other people. What’s hard for me is that I’m alone yet I still don’t have independence- my parents want to know where I am at every second of every day, I have to ask permission just to leave the house- I’m 19 but it’s like I’m still a kid.
