Sounds amazing, other than what the job title means in general, I'm not very familiar with it. Are there any other reasons than having a family for example that people don't want the night shift with this particular job?
Google "Washington State Fire Lookouts Open for Overnight Stays". The west half of Washington State in the USA is like this; very thick forests and constant drizzles year-round except June-August. You can rent cabins around there - Olympic Peninsula is a great place for this, such as hotels in Forks, WA.
AmbientDawn, just do it. I do it when ever I have time, and I love it. I dont have so much time cause Iam a dad and have obligations, and I should have do it more as I was younger, so if you read this, nothing should stop you.
That's why I always tried to get those guard shifts that included sunrise. Just hanging out at night for a bit, the world's asleep, and you get to watch, hear, and feel it wake up. Usually not a soul around to bother you, just the regular roving patrol that'll bring you food from the mess hall and bum cigs off of you in trade, just passing by, alone, and somehow also in good company. I lived for those hours.
When I was 16 years old I often felt weird and was called boring or a-social for choosing solitude and the exploration of thoughts and my computer's capabilities over partying in the weekend. It's only later in life you know you're surrounded by (a lot of) like-minded souls. So for any young people out there, always remain true to yourself.
You didn’t even do anything crazy, why are you acting profound about making a choice alot if not most young people make. Like what? Genuinely just fake as fuck
Perched high in the mountains, an isolated tower outpost stands eerily empty, its surveillance equipment still actively monitoring the desolate landscape on Norway fiords. Despite the operational cameras and sensors, there is no trace of the crew that once manned the station. The silent, yet functioning technology raises unsettling questions about the fate of those who vanished without a trace.
Honestly I have seen too many Scif fi and horror films on how these end but for some reason I would not mind being there. Surveying the area, recording logs, reporting to comms, getting a monthly shipment of supplies, talking to folks back home. Definitely sets the mood for studying and working. Amazing 🤩

Day 18 Long range sensors in grid 9-B were out of sync. Initiated drone repairs to realign the sensor net. Day 19 9-B is functional once again. Its been 19 days since my deployment. The instruments and ambiance are calming but I wish to be back up in the sky on deep space patrol. However , being terrestrial has its perks.
Day 20 - 9B is malfunctioning, sensors indicated somthing slowly moving through it but no indication from adjecent sectors. I'll take a look at it tomorrow. Strange sounds eminate from that area, rhythmic and haunting, almost yearning. They feel familiar, i can't explain why. The nights are long here, im plagued by dreams of a time long forgotten. A forest alive, habitated by a strange indigenous people, living in a peacful harmony with eachother and the forest they call home. The same dream every night, always shattered by a seering flash and ending in a dreamscape filled with fire and fear. What was here before we were? What will be here after? When i look out across the vast forest vista is it the begining of whats to come or the the aftermath of what was that I look upon. God i need some sleep, to my dream I return, and in the morning, 9B.
Since the Outsiders arrived, posts like mine have become invaluable with their sensors and optical capacity. The thing about these 6PM-6AM shifts is that they're either calm and beautiful, or full of mishaps. Guess what? Both sensors in Sector 2 just tripped. Grabbing my AR to go see what's up. Sun just set. Wish me luck.
Really nice vibe, with the music, and a wonderful visuals for this relaxing video. I hope you do more like these in future, especially with this spacy music, it's so soothing!
After the scientests tried their best probing the abandoned comms in the facility for any signs of life, they were rewarded with static and a low machine hum. The rising sense of dread within might be worse than the alien threat outside, a few thought. The facility being the coffin for their remains, burried on a rock never to be found in the vast graveyard of the known deep space where nobody would care to look, was a thought, no one thought. Then came an alert for an automated industrial train system, which was about to reach their facility in the next 24hrs. A functional train on a alien planet, carrying unknown cargo, heading anywhere, but this place, seemed like a hint of relief, the group seemed optimistic for. Some could say, sitting on a trian, cutting through vistas that ranged waterfalls, cliffs, feilds and all the thick majestic forest, which filled the void of everything uninteresting, seemed like somthing the group needed in this instant. All that awaited was the train, and the unknown destinations the train stopped at. The group didnt have any other choice.

Deep down inside we all seek that thrill and adventure, that adventure of sci-fi and remote distance areas as shown here - great job with the whole ambience and sound design
Note from the previous shift: The Outsiders can imitate human voices. If they see you they will try to lure you into a trap. If they hear your voice they can imitate you. Stay indoors, arm the security system and use the buckets when you need to go. Try not to talk too loud and ignore any voices you might hear from outside. They are out there and they are watching you.
old story says 60 years ago one of the lost techs left a note, that he found truth and he was going to follow after...we sure they got to him... they will exploit everything against you.
Week 1. October 21st, 2024. Settling in for the night, I was about to fall asleep, until I heard a scratch at the heavy metal door. Nervous, I made my way to the computer and flipped on the security monitor. A black cat sits at the door, scratching. Tempted, I think about letting the little critter in. Then I remember the note, there is no way a random housecat would be out here in these woods. After returning to my cot, I eventually drift off to the sounds of the scratching, droning on and on in the background. The next morning, the cat was gone, but more disturbingly, the scratches on the door seemed to have gotten larger and deeper than any cat scratch could have ever been. Things only began to get worse on night two.
Week 1. October 22nd, 2024. A light knock on the door awoke me, and startled, I once again made my way to the monitor. I switched the intercom on. Hello, is anyone there? - the voice of a small child resonated through the speaker. Please, I'm so cold - her voice trembled. My heart sank into the pit of my stomach, tears welled in my eyes. I could see the top of her head through the security camera, the angle was bad but, she was unmistakable. It was the voice of my daughter. Desperate I scrambled for the keys and ran to the door! Sliding the key into the lock on the handle, I twisted them and unlocked the door! Turning the handle I realized the door would not budge. I rattled at the door, trying to pull it open. In my panic, I had forgotten that there was another lock, a deadbolt activated by the security system on the other side of the room. Running back to the computer I stumbled and hit the floor. "Please!" she quietly begged from outside. As I lay there I began to sob, a shuddering sob from deep within. That THING is not my daughter I thought to myself. Oh god, how it hurt to hear her voice. She had passed away years ago in a tragic accident, and it tore our family apart. My wife couldn't handle the strain it put on our relationship, and we eventually separated. That is why I'm out here, that is one of the reasons why I am punishing myself with this solitary existence. The sorrow began to churn in my belly, the feeling pushing itself to my chest, one thought, only one thing consumed me at that moment. RAGE. I screamed, wrapping my fists against the door, "get away from me", "How dare you use her voice". I hurled insults, and I struggled. It took hours, sitting there with my bruised and bleeding knuckles. Eventually, her voice went away, and eventually, my rage subsided. I cried myself to sleep, leaning against that damned door.
Week 1. October 24th, 2024. Days passed, and I heard nothing. I wondered to myself, how does it know me? Did it follow me around before I got here? Did it get inside of my head? What is it? Are there more? The more questions I asked the more confused and further from the truth I felt. Sleep had become harder, I was scared that something would knock at the door. I constantly scanned the security monitors, and I would see movements out there in the trees. Figments of my imagination? Is it due to a lack of sleep? Maybe. Or maybe it's out there, watching me through the tempered bulletproof glass. Whatever it is, it needs to be stopped. This facility was built to surveil the land, like an old fire watch tower but, more for geological data. That was the goal originally until the researchers encountered something else out here in the untamed wilderness. The last shift couldn't make it, they weren't mentally strong enough, and they were forced to take administrative leave. I scoffed, administrative leave huh, I am starting to believe I won't make it either. I have to report my status and findings.
These days we have so much noise, schemes, media and technology we don’t know who we are anymore. This silences the noise, nature with nothing around and to top it off - old school tech with no gimmicks vying for our attention and money. Love it

The older I get and the more commitments I get, the more I wish I had done it more often when I had more time. If you are young, than dont waste your time.
@@KoOkiEzRoCkz Hey, I actually do hiking, bush crafting and wild camping. I am limited in my free time so I can't sleep that much outside, this year I already slept 4 nights outside and 2 others are planned. One was a 3 day tour without my mobile phone, and last weekend I was a night in the forest on my campfire and cooked a tasty soup. If you want tips or info for this kind of stuff, just ask. Rainy days in the city are my favorite. The sound of raindrops hitting the pavement and the sight of people with colorful umbrellas always bring me joy. ☔❤"
I've started working at a landbased fishfarm and this reminded me of that. Some times I work nights and I'm completely alone in the whole facility. No windows, though.

Man, this just gave me an idea of making a game in this setting: You've been stationed at a frontier outpost on an alien world tasked with observing the planet and anomalies. Everything you see, you report to the best of your abilities. Maybe it can follow a papers please type gameplay loop, or something similar where theres a story unfolding that you discover through your observations.
I honestly like the sound of this. Not only the literal sound of it, but also how the idea sounds. I feel like it’d get lonely after a while but I’ve kinda been wanting to escape reality for a bit now. Get away from everything for a while. Get away from the repetition of my current lifestyle, going to work then going home. Rinse and repeat. While I am grateful for the money I make, I feel like I’m missing out on so much in life and it frustrates me. I know I have the control to change that, but it’s hard to break a routine. However, I still want to get away
I can relate 100%. I was exactly where you are-living the job-financed lifestyle, with the idea of a "good life." And it was good, no doubt, but something was missing. Did I really want to spend the rest of my life in boardrooms, missing sunsets, and watching my kids grow up from a distance? Living smaller and prioritizing what truly matters became my goal. I quit my job, unsure of what would come next, but knowing I needed a change or I'd be stuck in the same cycle. I started this journey-and everything changed.
@@ambientoutpostI guess I’m officially on that life journey of, “who the hell am I?”, and, “what am I supposed to do?” I just hope I’m able to find my answers
I live in the mountains, so my office view looks like this. I'd love more windows though, my view is only about two of these wide. I open the door during rain like this, epic sounding live. Ground level the deer and other animals walk by and chill outside.
Sheesh.. Your ambiances are extraordinay, to say the least! Totally out of this world. Each one I play transports me somewhere new (maybe even a diff planet) and I enjoy the backstories you give sm!! 💗Glad to have found your channel. Subbed
Thanks for your feedback! I hear you! Thing is, these sounds popping up all the time can be distracting or just too much after a while, so I have left them out in order to make the ambience feel more calm.
appreciate your feedback! problem is: render time for a 10h video in 4k is close to a day. pro tip: if you right click on the play symbol in the video screen, you can loop it endlessly.
Damn dude when I first got into generating images this is EXACTLY the kind of thing I was developing. A longwinded way of saying, I am REALLY on board with your style.
Amazing work! once i laid eyes on it, i immediately felt calm. Do you know what is missing though??? A cup of hot coffee on the left of this desk.......
As the rain slowly ran down the armored window, they could hear it moving, howling. But they were not scared. There was a strange feeling of belonging in the air, a mysterious sense of peace. The guy who had just arrived that day was absolutely terrified, yet the rest of the team didn't share his feelings. "Have they gone mad? Or maybe they're used to it after so long in the outpost? Maybe too used to it." The new guy just couldn't accept it; something was very wrong there. Suddenly, he missed his wife. They could be on the couch watching anime and drinking wine. Two bottles were usually enough. While realizing that they were thousands and thousands of miles apart, a single tear fell onto his shoe. He wasn't the crying type. It was indeed his first day at the outpost, but it was not meant to be easy. He would have to take the study objects to the event zone. Directly to the event zone. Yes, outside. His co-workers weren't even worried; they were absent in their own thoughts, barely giving instructions. The head of operations was strangely calm, with both hands touching the glass window, like a child seeing some tigers at the zoo. The new guy knew he was supposed to go alone, to minimize risk. Suddenly, the head of operations said, as if he were in some sort of dark, twisted trance: "It's calling for us. Even more than before. We should go." The new guy shivered. "Fuck this," he thought. "Fuck the money, fuck everything, I want to go home." But he had no choice. Not anymore.
In college. Everything's kind of coming to a head. Family problems, career decisions, grades -- I retire here at the end of it. The only thing that keeps me going is to think that some day I may find myself here. It's a nice thought (: Hope y'all are ok
Clinging onto last remnant of hope: sat a watchman at a desk situated in a spacious circular window room with a 360-view overlooking lush pines and a vast misty horizon. As the day dawn, arose deep inside a strange feeling that the great and mighty power of the divine was moving on his behalf... That he was on his side. That the tables have been turned.
To his vacant wondering eyes, appears three distent choppers twinkling upon the rising sun. Come in, watch tower 38. What's your stat?! He eagerly commands the approaching aircrafts via coms, and so he sat nervously waiting. .. ... ... ..... We're coming home!... We're going home!... They respond through the crackling CB radio, igniting once dwindling hope. "There is a qoute: that Hope never arrives early, but it never arrives late."

The older I get and the more commitments I get, the more I wish I had done it more often when I had more time.
If you are young, than dont waste your time.
What kind of tours if I may ask? Or do you just refer to listening to these playlists hahah

Hey, I actually do hiking, bush crafting and wild camping.
Greetings ✌🏼

Greetings, not many people do this stuff so it's always nice to meet people who have the same hobby.
In which region are you active?
I just simply love this! Feels strangely safe and cocooned.
ermagherd the second i saw this image i was like TAKE ME THERE and LEAVE ME THERE i want to be in that space. and the music/ambient sounds go with it. honestly i dream of this kind of solitude. thanks for sharing, love it!
his is incredibly beautiful, I work with your music every day. I am a resident of this place... Forever.
Beautiful and incredibly calm and relaxing piece. Nice detail in thee visuals especially seeing some movement on the monitors, great work!
Thank you my friend!
The ghost has left the machine and now communes with the spirits of the forest.
Thanks for a wonderful experience today. It's always nice to visit and journey with you.
Rainy days in the city are my favorite. The sound of raindrops hitting the pavement and the sight of people with colorful umbrellas always bring me joy. ☔❤"
This is actually incredible, the music, the sound effects, the imagery, the audio levels, I could go on. Well done!
Thank you very much!
I've started working at a landbased fishfarm and this reminded me of that. Some times I work nights and I'm completely alone in the whole facility. No windows, though.
Love the atmosphere in here. keep up the good work!
Thank you very much mate!
I play this along with a random weather radio channel it’s beautiful.
Never did I feel so calm
Perched high in the mountains, an isolated tower outpost stands eerily empty, its surveillance equipment still actively monitoring the desolate landscape on Norway fiords. Despite the operational cameras and sensors, there is no trace of the crew that once manned the station. The silent, yet functioning technology raises unsettling questions about the fate of those who vanished without a trace.
Being alone brings you closer to God. Im completely free. Thanks for this work
Idk why this feels so good to me. It gives jurrasic park horror vibes but it feels so… nice? Like I WANT to be in that room.
This really reminds me of classic games like Zork Nemesis and the Myst games where the atmosphere was half the experience.
Really love the comments, all. Shared sentiments.
I just love the ambience of this
I like the ones with the inside view (POV) and the 'synth ring' in the background
Man, this just gave me an idea of making a game in this setting:
You've been stationed at a frontier outpost on an alien world tasked with observing the planet and anomalies.
This is great!
Thank you! :)
It's holding me.❤😊
This would be both creepy and amazing to work in
Thank you
Just waiting for the T rex... 🙂
Really beautiful work!
One of the best work!
Perfect.
awesome image, wanna to see some story made out of it
This gives me Jurrasic park vibes
Incredible music atmosphere
Love these. It would be great to see them in Wallpaper Engine.
live wallpapers are available on my Patreon, check it out!
Imagine having an office like that..
I live in the mountains, so my office view looks like this. I'd love more windows though, my view is only about two of these wide. I open the door during rain like this, epic sounding live. Ground level the deer and other animals walk by and chill outside.
@@Eli_B3000 What kind of work do you do that allows you to live in the mountains?
@@KevinGonzalezBautista office work, but our office is in town. We went home for covid and never went back.
I want this to be where I go to write.
Just looking at this image makes my anxiety go down lol
Sheesh.. Your ambiances are extraordinay, to say the least! Totally out of this world. Each one I play transports me somewhere new (maybe even a diff planet) and I enjoy the backstories you give sm!! 💗Glad to have found your channel. Subbed
Awesome, glad you enjoy it! Welcome on board! :)
When you put radio chatter in it. If you can't understand the chatter it makes it more soothing
Agreed!
I love the small details in the room itself. What is all that stuff on the floor? Why is is there? There is a story around all of it. Very cool.
Id give my right eye for this job.
Lovely atmospheric, image captures the feeling perfectly
This is just a whole ass vibe
Beautiful video loop man! I'd love to have this for my wallpaper on wallpaper engine, or similar....the mood is just perfect!
Amen brother💯
That’s a nice desk set up! Cool image!
Just incredible!
THIS IS PERFECT!
Imagine an audio like this that also includes the occasional beeps and hums of the monitors and equipment
Thanks for your feedback! I hear you! Thing is, these sounds popping up all the time can be distracting or just too much after a while, so I have left them out in order to make the ambience feel more calm.
apocalypse and lofi? Iovely
my dream office
Super nice, but too short, like all your videos! Make them at least 10 hours, and you have a subscriber!
appreciate your feedback! problem is: render time for a 10h video in 4k is close to a day. pro tip: if you right click on the play symbol in the video screen, you can loop it endlessly.
A place where our essence is restored

Damn dude when I first got into generating images this is EXACTLY the kind of thing I was developing. A longwinded way of saying, I am REALLY on board with your style.
Which programs did you use for create that kind of image?

Very nice ambient ! Can you animate clouds rising along the mountains in the background?
Thank you and sure!
Amazing work! once i laid eyes on it, i immediately felt calm. Do you know what is missing though??? A cup of hot coffee on the left of this desk.......
this is EPIC. thanks for making this!
Glad you enjoy it!
firewatch 2 insane
piece of art.
We should go."
The new guy shivered.
"Fuck this," he thought. "Fuck the money, fuck everything, I want to go home."
But he had no choice. Not anymore.
best place to be
I wish this was a game
survival and post-apocalyptic vibes.. I want to spend sometime here with the woman I love, maybe a week or a month idk
In college. Everything's kind of coming to a head. Family problems, career decisions, grades -- I retire here at the end of it. The only thing that keeps me going is to think that some day I may find myself here. It's a nice thought (: Hope y'all are ok
Speaking from experience, keep making good decisions and you'll get there!
This makes me feel like Batman
I want this job.
very nice
Nice vibe!
Reminds me of Pacific Drive
This one feels just right. It`s like a hidden part of me that gets triggered by that atmosphere.

Alone on a 40k Warhammer Death World vibes.

We're coming home!... We're going home!...
They respond through the crackling CB radio, igniting once dwindling hope.
"There is a qoute: that Hope never arrives early, but it never arrives late."
"Man that rain just won't let up. It'll be good for sneaking since you'll be hard to see, but be careful that you dont get hypothermia." Kaz
nice
I strongly hope that you could put this on the Wallpaper Engine.
