I have always been a loner. Even when wanting to be part of a crowd but I never seemed to fit in. It is not that I dislike people, but I have in recent years yearned to go and find a nice small town. Be in a place near nature where there is still peace and quiet yet full of life in animals, birds and wildlife. This outpost setting would be perfect for me!!! I LOVE to read!!!! I wouldn't say I'm a loner, but I know exactly what you mean. It isn't that I don't like company (i do, very much!) but it's that I also enjoy solitude and serenity now-and-then. And it isn't a "one or the other" thing, you can love a good party or spending time with that special someone and also enjoy your occasional alone time to do things that only interest you, or just to relax and do nothing at all except watch a camp fire, or spot wildlife or sip a drink whilst listening - really *listening* to music.

It is not the gigantic distances between the stars that we have to overcome. It is the limits of reality itself that hold us captive, when the worlds in our imaginations are so much larger. One day we must overcome these limitations.

We, the trapped ones always think about stuff like oh how big that thing is or how much time that takes, but still we are referring to finite 4d entities our minds cannot see beyond that.
