    I tried to put everything into this lesson, from cue ball and speed indicator up to the virtual ghost ball. But I think apart from this, it turned out to be a solid lesson on breaking and running out in 9-Ball. I hope you've enjoyed it. See you next week!

    A lot of people brag about powerful strokes - instead you calmly make the cue follow the path you chose, seemingly without effort. That's the stroke I want to emulate. Kudos on the production quality as well - excellent all around.

    Your videos keep getting better. Would love to see a similar updated/detailed 8ball run out, since that's the dominant game here in Australia.
    Also, I can't believe people give it a thumbs down. All your efforts that are so valuable and are for free! Come on guys hit the likes let's show our appreciation!

    Every time I watch your ideas I learn something new. This video I learned to use a lot less English and use the rails more than I normally do. I also learned to slow down and follow through on each stroke.

    There’s no doubt that this is the best pool teaching channel on TH-cam. The amount of time and work that must go into your videos is crazy to me. I also appreciate how you just use the little pop up things to say hey like and subscribe etc., rather than stopping and talking about it for five min like a lot of channels.

    Thank you for taking so much time to do quality editing to show where you're hitting the cue ball, where the ghost ball is and also the speed - along with visual planning lines and multiple cameras! The beautiful video matches your beautiful play and makes it so enjoyable to watch and makes me want to try these shots myself. Cheers!

    I think your videos on running out are great, but i think you should make a video on how to run racks with an amateur’s break. Our breaks are typically not as good, we don’t make as many balls or get quite as good of a spread. Most players are not going to run out so it would be interesting to see your thoughts on how to deal with trouble shots and strategy for dealing with clusters or unmakeable balls

  • @jamesnewcomer5963
    @jamesnewcomer5963 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Your advice on visualization is very important, not just accomplishing the shot in the moment, but for improving over time. As I've been using visualization more, when the action doesn't match what I visualized, it has become much easier to correct myself. Just that alone has improved my speed control and ability to predict deflection angles. The consistent format you use for your overlays has made it easier for me to make the same pictures in my mind's eye. Great stuff!

    I've been a big fan of your videos for a long time...one of the best on youtube...
    I just don't agree with calling it right spin....why not just call it right english? When you say right spin, some people might imagine the cueball spinning right, but when you say right spin, the ball is actually spinning left..
    this can leave some beginners confused...like I was before. Just my thoughts. But great work regardless!

    • @Sharivari
      @Sharivari  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      When I called it right english, people will get confused what "english" is, because in many countries it's called spin and not english. But I think as long as I say "left" or "right" it should be obvious.

    5:22 >> in this scenario, the less you put the side spin, the wider the cue ball travel... vise versa, more spin = narrow cue ball angle.. did i get that correct ?

    You can tell you put a lot of work into this one rack. This really is what's going through the minds of most high level players for sure. Something I heard from somebody on shots that you need to make that are high pressure as you get down the shot think to yourself how does the felt feel. You will line up a little more natural without over analyzing. Also if it's the final ball really focus on what the cue Ball's going before you get down find a spot on the rail to let it run. Your dog weigh less money balls. The thought is when you're shooting on 8 or 9 out of 10 shots you're really concentrating on cue ball position then on the last one you're not. You really should maintain that same focus on cue ball position.
