the reason is nostalgia - we probably originally clicked on these because we knew the show - its mostly just US and Canada - which is the first problem - second is that is a certain generation - age 30 ish to 40 ish remember this show best

It’s called Sam’s Swap!
This powerup can be earned by winning a “call your shot” event, and your only get it once a season. You can choose to forgo the extra point and have Sam come in (hiding the screen and points) and randomly switch the shirts. she will not know who has what points and the teams/points will be swapped. Sam can choose to mix up all three or just two players .
This must be used by a losing team only. and it is supposed to be for the benefit of the loser of the episode (or season).
Just a premise for an idea!
Pros: adds a new game dynamic/ reward option, could monumentally shift an episode and the point totals for the season.

Idea: just for the reset episodes, call your shot points should be 3pts if made on the first event, 2pts if on the 2nd or 3rd event and 1pt if made on the last event.

on the obstacle rope climb over net event the purple side has a huge hole in the net near the top each time. Thats why purple loses each time in this round. Thats 3/3 purple comes last

I was red-blue-purple here. While I think blue got a massive advantage in the fumble event, red simply sold at the end. I would not have gone last on the first event for calling your shot, the second event was an obvious choice for 3rd, only thing that could have changed that was a fall.
I understand the thought process of calling your shot for the 1st event, but that game is literally up for grabs most of the time. It seems like there's always a lot of ties in it. Joezack should have used it for the Tornado Run because that was one where we all knew what the outcome was going to be.
It might be fine to do it on the first event in rare cases. It's dumb to do it on *that* event because, as Jimmy noted after tricking them into locking in, the likelihood of a tie for second is too high.
You don't want to predict a last place finish on an event with a small, discrete score. Timed events are ideal, since ties are unlikely. Jumping events or ones with high scores are also reasonable. An event where usually only 4 or 5 points are scored is a terrible idea, even if you had a better idea how good the players are.
I love this series so much but I'm sad because I know every episode is another toward the end
I Think Jimmy was giving his honest opinion to Joez about the cal your shot in the first event, but I think he was trying to trick Jake with it in the second event.

Such bad advice to call your shot on the first event. Way too likely to tie for 1st or 2nd if you’re going to call third. Statistically speaking Joez needed to call 1st or 2nd, as it has more options of hitting given the nature of the scoring / game.
Not a fun season for Team Jake fans like myself. Season 8 can't come soon enough!
