  • In this video, we a new TMR magnetometer breakout board and connect it to an Arduino.
    NVE has expanded its industry-leading line of ALT-Series TMR magnetometers with the ALT026-10E. The new version has a 20 mT linear range, which is the widest in the Series.
    The part family's best-in-class specifications include:
    • High sensitivity (up to 500 mV/V/mT)
    • Large signals (200 mV/V typical full-scale)
    • Flexible 0 to 10 V supply (no minimum)
    • 20 kiloohm device resistance for low power
    • High linearity (2% of full-scale)
    • Ultra-low output temperature coefficient (±0.1%/°C)
    • Fast (up to 300 kHz bandwidth)
    • -40 to 125 °C operating range
    • 2.5 x 2.5 mm DFN6 package
    Applications include:
    • Proximity sensing
    • Motion, speed, and position control
    • Ferromagnetic material detection
    • Flow sensing
    • Geomagnetic navigation
    • Noncontact current sensing
    • Wearables
    • Mechatronics and robotics
    The 0.8 x 0.4 inch (21 x 10 mm) breakout boards have pre-soldered sensors, and footprints for standard 0.1" headers and 1 mm pitch card-edge connectors.
