No one PURPOSELY took out anyone in Silverstone. Lewis went for a desperate move, Max turned in on him, they collided, and Max got the worse of it. If Max had any racecraft or situational awareness, this crash would have never happen. What happened in Abu Dhabi was the FIA BREAKING THEIR OWN RULES that massively favored Max over Lewis just for the sake of 'entertainment'.

Also, no rules were broken as Masi had the written right to do as he saw fit. Furthermore, Mercedes demanded all week that Masi would not allow to end the race under safety car because they were sure Max would drive into Lewis. Then Masi did exactly what they asked him to do.
So these analysts talking points are so boring. They can't just praise the guy and leave it there...they always have to throw in some slap. Also these talking points came to nought. People leaving team, this is normal practice. Winning teams always lose their engineers to other teams able to pay more than they could due to cost caps. That's all normal.

'22 was illegal as they still hadn't recieved any punishment or neutralisation for the '21 cost cap breach. Car had illegal bib height adjustment device. Misfiled the cost cap documentation due to overclaimed tax credit. '23 still not fully punished for '21 cost cap until final few races. Illegal bid height adjustment. Illegal asymmetric brakes. Misfiled cost cap documentation due to overclaimed tax credit. '24 illegal bib height adjustment, illegal asymmetric braking. Still to be determined how much tax credit is overclaimed to keep under the cost cap. And not to mention running people off the road, having mediocre teammates with barely any race wins, a car moulded solely around his driving preferences and the FIA protecting him and giving him lenient penalties. People won’t admit it but Max has had everything in his favour and has been handed these titles on a plate.
