he has a full tutorial on how he made the gun in the video. its easy asf and if you have guitar strings, you can do it right now.
Just buy one you guys. Jesus. Go to amazon. Dragonhawk tattoo Kit. Comes with a liner gun, shader gun, diff needle sizes for both, gloves, 10 diff inks including black, power supply, foot pedal, and a piece of practice skin (yes i know the practice skin sucks and is expensive and not even like skin) and it comes one one piece of trace paper with the monofilament for stencils, everything, though look up how joe makes a stencil. Works way better and all you need is regular paper and a graphite pencil. You know what it cost? 40 dollars. That's it. It's amazon's number one seller... the gun i looked at BEFORE the dragonhawk set, only got 2 stars, but was 31 dollars, and i wondered why, then I noticed the seller was -unknown... I go back to the dragonhawk, it gets 4 stars, I read comments, people love them. You can always get more needles and gloves ect later on. Plus real life pros recommend Dragonhawk's gun's. Just make sure it is from dragon hawk, they have their name on the gun, always. Saw some chick yesterday that thought she had a dragonhawk gun, yet she was pissed when she noticed it did not say dragon hawk anywhere. The company is super understanding, it was packaged well, everything worked. Got a problem when you order and get it? Amazon backs up the company, so you can either talk to amazon or dragon hawk about what you got that was messed up. And all the negative comments, were from ppl who dont know anything about tattooing... such as one person said their gun didn't work at all. Same thing happened to me. But before i ran off leaving a negative comment, i know a thing or two about electronics. One little screw just needed to be moved a bit and bam, gun worked perfect. They had it that way so its not putting pressure on the contact bar the entire time. And no i'm not sponsored by them. All products are also sealed/sterilized with E.Q Gas with the blue dot, knowing its good, if its red, that means it wasn't properly sealed and they'll send you a new one. Mine were all blue. LOVE THE VIDS JOE I KNOW THIS IS OLD BUT STILL WATCHING THE NEW ONES.

im currently 16 and i have 4 tattoos that i did myself from watching these videos. i have spent about 2 years of my childhood life in juvenile detention and it is very hard to do it in there. Love your videos!

EmilLime your recipe needs more yeast to work. otherwise you will find a bottle of nasty bullshit. you can use bread to add yeast, and you will need to burp it.

I absolutely love your videos! as i'm beggining to tattoo, i had several issues finding a tattoo apprenticeship where i live because here there is NO supply stores and the people that have a studio or some experience can be REALLY selfish about sharing knowledge.

I tattooed myself with my homemade tattoo gun and then my friend saw the tattoo and ask me to talk to him as well so I did I did two tattoos and him they came out to be pretty good plus I had no professional link so I had to use homemade ink

After watching your tattooing videos I tattooed a piece on my leg that I just love with my home made gun. (made with a plastic spoon and cd player engine, with a guitar string needle) So I'd like to thank you for the tips on tattooing.
