      Under a grand for a synth? It's a bargain imo, especially considering what we have to pay for guitars and amps; an entry level Boogie is twice what a Roland guitar synth costs, for example.

    Beautiful. However i wish Godin Guitar Company would please work on the buzz that still comes from the Bass 6th string E and sometimes the 4th string D. It is nice to hear string buzz on Flamenco compositions but not for classical or jazz pieces. I love the Godin multi ac.....and hope the Godin company will fix this slight string buzz that is apparent on most of the multiac nylon string guitars.

    • @rickbrosseau1162
      @rickbrosseau1162 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      On my prior text i meant to text THIS there is a string buzz FROM 4th string ( D) and 5th string. ( A) also on the 6th string E from the Godin ( although ever so slight.)

    Hello .. I have a question or rather a request for possible help. When I write notes in TAB via MIDI (I have a Godin guitar with a 13-pin input, I connect it to the Roland GR 55 and then connect it to the computer with a midi-usb cable) using a guitar, the program records the sound "c" on the 2nd string, threshold 1. I would like so that he would write the note in a different position on the fingerboard, eg string 4, fret 10. But it does not happen. So it's not good, because the piece is recorded in the wrong position on the fingerboard. Do you know something about it? Maybe there are some solutions .. Using the guitar, I write notes in TAB much faster and more conveniently. I have been looking for a solution for several months. I am asking for a possible answer. I would be very grateful for any hint. Best wishes. MiroslaV

    yes, a great guitar, and we managed to improve it further with a replacement board that adds a lower octave bass to the lowest played note: polybass.com . its simple to build in without soldering and integrates without delay or glitches - part of the instrument really! and the hiss goes away...

    Excellent demonstration. My question is if you think the synthesizer sounds better with a guitar with metal strings, or nylon. As I am undecided if to buy a godin acs sa in nylon, or an electric godin xtsa. Thank you for your answer

      The Sliders on the guitar. The one on top is the guitar and the one on the bottom is for the synth but you have to plug the 1/4 inch cable into your amp so in other words, you have to plug both the synth cable and the guitar cable into your amp hope that helps :D

    Hello,`I just got my GR55, but I can only get the synth sounds to come out of it. I have a GR30, and it works great; I just use the 13-pin cable and I blend the sounds with the control on my Godin, but not on the GR55. I fooled around with some of the settings, and routed the pickup to the Guitar Output, and the guitar signal will come out of the Guitar Output when I do that, but I would have to use a second amplifier to do that, and for that matter, I shouldn't have to do that. I should only have to use my 13-pin cable to the GR55, and the Mono output to my monitor. I contacted Tech Support, and they sent me some info, but they are focused on the controls of the GK pickup, and not my Godin. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    • @charlessedlak
      @charlessedlak  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      i found it cuts through more than the standard nylon string. If you notice the first part of the video before i start playing synth, its pluged straight from the 1/4 inch jack to an RP 255 to the amp . I've been playing nylon string guitars almost exclusively for the last 20 years and This is far and away the best sounding guitar I've ever owned . Hope this helps you !!!! Cheers.

    The sound of the organ is much better than the sound of violin or saxophone. Because of the frets. Passage between notes is too obvious because of the frets, it is too percussive. Guitar and piano or organ are also percussive instruments, with violin and air instruments the passage between notes is smooth. It is really interesting anyway.

    I just got this set up and the synth tracking is the worst. It works with some of the guitar sounds, but any kind of synth sounds or piano are loaded with ghost notes and digital distortion. No way I would ever track or play live with this thing. Super disappointed in how useless most of this pedal is. It tracks like my Yamaha DG-20 synth guitar from the 80's.

    Cool instrument but I find it a bit strange hearing for example a sax played by a guitar. Perhaps the best purpose for this instrument is composing a song whereas the composition requires other instruments to complete the song. So for example if you needed sax part but didn't know how to play one then just record that part on a separate track and so on and so forth. Otherwise I find the instrument useless. BTW does a cow cluck or a chicken Moo?
