This is what you can achieve in your lounge room, with some irregular ceiling absorbers, some furniture and, oh yes, eight outstanding musicians and a recording engineer who really knows the room and her/his mixing/recording gear. Nice.
Gotta love Scott Hamilton. ❤️ what a soft, full, warm and beautiful sound he generates. Strings were great. In fact, the entire group performed wonderfully.

Magnífica interpretación de este clásico de la Bossa Nova. Elia Bastida sigue demostrando talento, técnica y sensibilidad a raudales. Los invitados de super lujo, esta vez 4 nada menos, con el maestro Scott Hamilton (el chaval más viejo de la SAJB, como le llamo yo) impartiendo magisterio al saxo y el trío de cuerda con Roma, Diallo y Mallinger de altísimo nivel. Y los de siempre, Monné, Juliá y Chamorro, sin fisuras.
Por cierto, hay un error en los créditos: Josep Traver no actúa esta vez, aunque figura en ellos.

Joan C.: In a high % of the comments I find a genuine level of appreciation for this style of music. One remarked that the strings open a new door and I hope you walk through that door. I am also learning some expressions in Spanish, French and Portuguese. Catalan remains mysterious. The music is Always great!!!
