Beautiful controlled rowing from the Dutch, really impressive on being a length down on Thames and then going straight past them to virtually a length up. Wow! They made it so easy.

How come a student club was able to race in the club division?

@@simondenelzen it's still a student club. At best it's not in line with the spirit of the regatta. They should have raced under an alumni club then, like everyone else does
@@thesaint8400 Interesting statement! But I think it has to do with the different structure of student societies in the Netherlands. In the Netherlands student societies are not linked to universities. There are no alumni clubs. I think these graduated students are really enthusiastic to start the regatta in their old club's colors and that is part of the fun for them.
