    Come On Man.......Come On Man......Texas Fan.......I do love the SEC already though. It's very competitive and people fight like family. They can kick the crap out of you but at the same time no one outside of the SEC better touch you. They support the SEC team when you play outside of the SEC. I like that.

It's easy to hate Texas because it's the flagship institution of a state that's easy to hate if you aren't from here, but all evidence suggests that Texas was in the business of saving conferences, not killing them. The same cannot be said of the teams they tried to help, who only stabbed them in the back.

      @seansmith117 9 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      You say that OU has dominated Texas for the past couple of decades. Untrue. In the last 20 Red River games, it's 9-11 OU advantage. Hardly a domination. OU did dominate Texas during the Strong and Herman eras when Texas was down - 2-5 OU advantage. Anwar's argument is that OU appears to be going through its own "down" era that could last a while. He talked about the last 3 games, which is a 2-1 Texas advantage with a scoring differential that's astronomical. That's recent history with an eye toward the future - what happens if Texas runs off 5 in a row? That's bad news for OU who relies on Texas for recruiting. If the worm has turned, and Venables isn't the guy you want him to be, you might look up and realize it's a 4-1 Texas advantage, which can quickly become 8-2. OU has enjoyed great coaching stability with Stoops into Reiley, but don't forget the 80s and 90s. A couple of wrong hires and you can hurt a program for a long long time.
