Two years ago, I would have bet a year's worth of mortgage payments that 49 points were enough to beat UT in Neyland. That's why I dont gamble. That said, if we do hang 40 on the Tide, I'd say we're in a really good position to light up that TN tobacco.
My dad's a huge Vols fan, I started following them in 1969. Alabama was clearly their biggest rival back then (and indeed UT-Bama was the SEC's biggest rivalry, period). Auburn was probably the Vols' second biggest rival, great games every year. All 3 teams were good almost every season. UT didn't play Florida every year back then, and it didn't become a huge rivalry until the 1990s with Steve Spurrier.
Our fans are passionate, yes, but toxic as hell. I’ve seen people calling for Gaston to start, Heupel to get fired, and wild bullshit the last 2 weeks. They even boo’d Nico last week at FL in the stadium. Do some of you forget where we came from?!? We’re 5-1, it hasn’t been pretty, but who gives a shit. I’m happy to watch the boys every week and my only preference is why don’t we see Mike Matthews more? Nimrod should lose a few snaps if Matthews is even close to prepared
We always have a tailgate party for the Tn vs Ala game and we guess the score to win prizes. I put down Tn.33 Ala. 32. I think the good guys are going to win but it’s going to be close! Let’s go Big Orange Nation! GBO 🍊🏈🧡
The passes that Nico "missed" he actually hit them in the hands 3 of 4 times. That squrriel play the ball either went through his hands or hit them. The same guy who fielded a punt backwards a few weeks ago. That one in the 4th quarter when the guy came out of bounds, it was in his hands 2-3 yards away from the sidelines and he still landed out of bounds. Nico fit that between a defender and the sideline. The Nimrod drops. Its not all Nico.
In order for Nico to do his job the offensive tackles specifically have to do ia better job of protecting him and ico has to use better judgement in his decision making with the ball
Yes, I do believe Cainer that the Vols will win at Neyland just like they did in 2022. If UT can beat Nick Saban and Heisman winner Bryce Young then the Vols can beat not Nick Saban (Kalen DeBoer) and not Bryce Young (Jalen Milroe).
The big question is will our O line step it up or not. Nico has zero confidence in pass protection. If we can score our defense can keep us in it , but if we dont have a passing game show up , nit good.
Cainer…buddy, we ain’t close until we get some better tackles. Heard is out of shape, Davis is terrible, and Campbell is playing on one leg. Not unless they line up in 12, get Nico outside of the pocket, seal with the TE, and give him a 2 route read or run. That’s our best chance in the passing game
Bama will score 28 or 31 heard on Volquest I believe it was. Bama kicker is 1-2 on field goal tries this is game 7 he’s kicked twice. Bama scores TDs our defense makes stops to many possessions to not score 2 TDs a half however, we will make stops question is how hard do we make it on kicker And how LOUD CAN NEYLAND get. Forget cameras make his helmet SHAKE. One of my best friends was in the band in the 90s and he said one of the craziest feelings he’s ever had is the weight that pushes down on you from the volume when that T opens he said your literally playing an instrument like a deaf person because you can not hear ur own instrument and he is an outstanding drummer, He said your reading music keeping time in Your head because YOU CAN NOT hear ur own instrument. Shake his HELMET Neyaland shake his helmet.
So glad you told us that... really I am glad to know that there is at least one crybaby in the chat. You added so much to this comment section with this thoughtful and insightful post. Ps commenting hate for boogie only boost the boogie show in the algorithm, so thanks 😭🤡
Im a vol for life, but im a realist first. Bama is going to drag us up and down the field. Our offense isn't good enough to score with bama... and our defense is good, but we haven't played against an offfense like bama's yet.
There needs to be more quarterback run plays along with running Sampson.

TN/FL game: Vols defense AND offense were BOTH outstanding in OT.
Don’t be surprised if the crowd plays a factor and Tenn jumps out to a big lead. Just like Bama did that team in red down in Athens.

Depends on which Milroe we get. Elite Milroe, we need 40 points, at least. Average Milroe, we need 30 ish.

Vols 34 bama 28, LETS GO VOLS 🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊🍊
RUN THE DAMN BALL!!!!
GBO!!

Hope the offense can all get on the same page this weekend
Great defense will beat a great offense especially playing at home. 34 / 27. Vols GBO
Tennessee needs 28 to have a chance unless the defense is able to shut Milroe down
Totally agree. It’s very unlikely, but a 24-17 UT victory where the defense plays great combined with some Milroe turnovers is in the cards

😅 turn Nico loose.
Let him go .!!!!

Hey Boogie
English was beating my boy Eric’s butt today lmao
- O-line, especially the weak side needs to block.
- TN needs to stay ahead in the points
- TN needs 33pts to win.

Gotta score 40+ to win GBO
0:29 *gigs to the new intro music*

Boogie is trying his best to carry water for the offense.
GO BIG ORANGE ROOLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!

We have not given up 20 yet this season. They get that but only that. UT wins 28 20
Very easily could no … it is Bama which means it will be a tough game.
We need 5 TDs in order to win this game!
They need around 24 pts at minimum
GBO
Illl say 35 to be safe but I don’t think Bama gets to 30
35 plus
Whoever wins the turnover game will win.
30
No 2nd & 3rd sessions for me.
y we r all curious
Boo hoo 😂

This isn’t an airport, you don’t have to announce your departure
1 more than Bama.
There are no good GA fans - no not one
I hope Tennessee goes down 14 and our suspect QB has to throw
Nico has to stop staring down receivers. It will just take lots of practice.
Bama 32-28

I agree. Bama has had 10 straight bad quarters of ball, I don't see that continuing.
They've lost against Vandy. That's reality too.
@@CarlaJenkinsTV oh like Arkansas is any better
