I don’t normally comment on videos BUT this video is a game changer for me…out of like 400 pounds of paper of different colors and patterns I have ZERO double sided paper.. that’s an issue for some projects.. WELL thanks to you I made my paper double sided with my stamps.. thank you for posting this video
I relly enjoyed this videp, thuy are all very pretty,I do have a few stamps, I just wished that I was allowed back in her house to pick a few, she wanted me to have her craft stuff but my dad stopped that and my older sister went through all her things, I don't get on with my sister at all😊💐♥️
Love the layering look. Turned out beautiful. You can still use square or rectangle shapes. Just don't stamp them straight. Always stamp square images on an angel and rotate the stamp. It will look great with no worries if it's straight or not. Give it a try.♥️
That looks like just the project I need right now. Something to spur my creativity. Thanks Cathy. Happy for you that you’ve finished your family room flooring project. Hugs.
Hey Cathy! As per usual, I'm Binge-Watching your Channel this Beautiful Sunday Afternoon; Trying to catch up on any of your videos I may have missed during the week. I haven't Crafted AT ALL since Daddy passed on May 9th. I knew if I made myself a glass of tea; Snuggled up with my Pups & watched a few of your videos that I'd surely find... Not only some Crafty Inspiration, but some Motivation to pull out my papers & just play! Then if something Beautiful comes out of my "Playing" ...Well then that's even better! I think I actually already saw most of your videos from this past week, so I'm going to stop with this one & go make some pages for Backgrounds! Unfortunately I only have a handful of stamps & I don't have any Distress Inks, but I do have some Water-Based Markers. I learned a while back, from another YouTubber, That I can simply color over my stamps with the Markers & they stamp out just as well as if I'd used the ink meant for stamping! Since I don't have any of those nifty acrylic blocks to stick the Acrylic Stamps I have onto; I just use a piece of packaging. (I did see someone show a Haul from Dollar Tree where they found some Acrylic Blocks there for $1.25!!! I keep checking at all the DT Stores in my area & haven't lucked-up & found any yey, but I've found a way around it for now! Ok... I'm off to make some Backgrounds... All because of YOU! Cathy, Thank You For All You Do!!! ~🙏💙🙏Much Gratitude From the Carolinas🙏💙🙏~
Erica, I’m so sorry about your Daddy. I’m so glad your starting to craft again. Take each day as it comes and I would love for you to join me daily as we craft together. 💐🥰🫶
I tried my first background paper..wound up making a little booklet out of it..couldnt cut it up. Lol. Just got my first full size store bought haul of T.H. distress oxide inks!! Messy fun!!!
I do this for Cardmaking I’ve no idea why I haven’t tried it for journalling ha ha! I’m always thinking ‘where can I get some background stamps’ they are all rather expensive. Thanks for giving me the idea. Yours are pretty amazing. Thank you Cathy. Xx 😁💜🦋
These are really nice Cathy! About the square stamps, maybe try stamping them at different angles all over the page🤷🏻♀️..Also just a thought...these originals are so pretty you could scan them and save to print as many as you want for later use! Tfs, hugs❤
Love these.....very lovely. I agree the getting started in stamping is my problem. Getting all the items out etc. P.S. could you post the name of your block stamp with multi pattern?
Hi Marie, That is something I did not expect to happen. I could place these folders over in my Etsy shop. That might be an option. Question: are you able to get different size envelopes? I’m asking this question because I’m thinking we are going to add some envelope flip outs in this journal. Let me know it this might be a solution to your problem.
I love it! Beautiful. I've got to try this myself. You've made it seem very doable. One question. What can you do if you think one of the things you stamped is too overpowering. The ink you used was too intense/dark compared to the rest. It just sticks out too much. Kind of slaps you in the face kind of thing. Do you have to live with it? Or is there a way to mute it? Also, I want to add. I could see some of the papers you made in a scrapbook paper pad. To be used as a background for pages. Those were just amazing!
Lynnie, If you really dislike what you stamped you can always start over… I start over a lot when I’m not happy with the out come. Remember it’s only paper and a little ink. 💐🥰

💐🥰
If you stamp on a soft surface like a garden kneeling mat your impression is much more defined and all the details show up really nice.
🥰💐
Those turned out so pretty! I had to laugh when you talked about getting your stamps out because I'm the same way!
💐🥰

This is lovely. I just did something similar. Mine was by accident. Actually it came about as frustrated stamping and ended up not half bad.

is this how printables are made also? Nice.
Daisy, I think digitals are made on the computer. 🥰💐
I have that stamp block of leaves and love it!!! I got it at Michael's on clearance for 27 cents!
Wow C, you really did get a good deal.💐🥰
@@CathysGardenllc I got a bagful of stamps for 27 cents each that day. I was on clod nine

Marie, On the four sided stamp it says Foliage Quad Cub WO. That’s all it says. 💐🥰
