Right, I do that too. As I said I use my ink pad so much that the top of the pad gets very matted down almost like the texture has changed and become hard. I have gotten so much use out of it, money well spent!
Tim holtz has a video onthis, according to him we don't have too its more preference. I did same for yrs with my stamping up ones. I have his now and store standing up in his metal boxes for them
Love the file folder! I like the tip about sewing around it twice for those of us that don’t sew very straight. You are so pleasant and comical. You remind me so much of Carol Duval. 😊
So beautiful! 😍 Definitely wouldn't want to hide this away! Full display at all times! 💖 Thank you for the inspiration Cathy 💕 I would LOVE to see a video of a file folder cut up and fully decorated into tags! Beautifully decorated tags can make great Happy Mail, or tucks!
Cathy my dear, you are just too adorable. I loved this video, especially the beginning! This project turned out so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your fantastic ideas and your lovely style of decorating. ❤❤❤
I love this beautiful organizer! ❤❤❤ We are in the midst of moving, and I was trying to figure out some more ways to organize my papers, ephemera, and scraps, other than just having them stacked in plastic bins. I love this and plan to make a bunch of them! Thank you! ❤😊
I use the baking pan method to coffee die my paper. I don't dunk a stack of paper. I dip each sheet quick in and out. I lay them out to dry or iron them dry.
Oh wow! Looks fabulous. 🤩 This is such a great idea. It’s like creating your own little project folders as well. I think this is a great idea to hold ephemera that I’m working on for a journal. Definitely making one! Or two. 😂 Love and light ❤️🤗
Spreading happiness is the best way to live. Thank you Cathy for all the joy you give.❤❤❤
Cathy, on advice of others, I turn my ink pads upside down when not in use. Seems to work well.

@@CathysGardenllc I never knew about that until a couple days ago. I use mine a lot too and seem to go through them quickly.

Wow, the manila folder turned out spectacular. ❤
Hi Cathy we don’t use file folders in the UK is a cereal box ok to use ? What would you advise ?
Maybe something not as thick. These folders are like card stock weight.
Very pretty Cathy. Do you put baking soda in your coffee slurry to neutralise the acid.
No, do you?
@CathysGardenllc I have not tried it yet, but I have seen a lady or two use it.
I add a couple of drops of water to my oxide inks. They are waterbased and they can be reactivated.
