    Thank you Amy. This was very helpful. I have some red rubber cling stamps that seem to lose their cling. It doesn't want to stick to my acrylic block. Any suggestions? They are fairly new stamps, and have never been used. I really appreciate you and Jane doing these tutorials....ya'll are gems! hugs. Claudene

    • @MaymayMadeIt
      @MaymayMadeIt  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      mskaykrafts The first tip it is to be sure your cling area of the stamp is really clean. You can wipe them with baby wipes and that usually does the trick, just let them dry completely before you cling them. If not that, try some temporary adhesive, just stick it on the cling part and then put them on the block. Hope that helps!

    I really enjoyed these series of lessons. I learned some things I didn't know and some more tips & tricks along the way. Both you and Jane did a great job! I looked forward to the lesson(s) each week. I even read through some of the comments and lean a few things there. Like:.... You have no sprays? Really? Girl, you "NEED" to get you some prays....especially with Christmas stuff...get all that shimmer's, glimmers, shines & sparkles... with those spays.... Oh My! LOL. (I have to say Lindy's is my fave- but I also make my own custom colors from dyes, paints, inks etc... Oh, and a lot of mica's...hehe.
    Thank you so much for taking your time to do all this for our crafty community of Ladies...& Gents. It was great!
    Blessings to you!

    I'm not a stamper per se - I'm a scrapbooker but I have been trying to incorporate more stamps into my layouts (even took an online class on how to do just that which gave me tons of ideas) So this was an excellent help in explaining the different types. I'm not a good stamper - yet - still have too light of impressions - but I supposed that comes with time. Thanks so much for your expertise...and sharing! Lynn

    Love your videos. I know you are trying to help new crafters. When you mention conditioning your stamps I know some companies say not to condition their stamps or they will be ruined. I also know there are different ways to condition . The Stamps of Life are one of the companies who say don't use the eraser technique to condition their stamps. I just thought I'd let you know in case you weren't familiar with this. Have a great day.

    • @MaymayMadeIt
      @MaymayMadeIt  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Susie Draper I am familiar. Most companies worry about you using a file on their stamps. I condition mine by using them, just stamp them multiple times and they work better each time. I have my own line of clear stamps sold at www.maymaymadeit.com and that is how I condition mine, with use. You should always follow the manufacturer's directions on products though, different companies use different processes to create the products and they need different uses.

    As a crafter who has only recently starred using stamps I have a question Maymay - are you meant to wash the stamps after use it let them dry before using them again?
    Really enjoyed this series ladies I thank you both for all your hard work putting this together :-D

    • @MaymayMadeIt
      @MaymayMadeIt  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      gazgreeneyez Yes, you should clean them each time. Generally, you can use a baby wipe or wet wipe to clean away the left over ink. If you use Stazon ink, you may need to get the cleanser used specifically for that ink. I am really bad about not cleaning my stamps which is way many of them are black...
