Hi - this is not June. There's a reference to "All Saints Day" in the opening few minutes - that's 1st November. The final episode of the first series is known as All Saints Day.

"making a go of it" 35 acres? that's a laugh even back in 1980 or so. Farming dreams evaporated soon after that
where are all the episodes
How come he has a milk bottle on the table when he has cows?
I would say that he is not milking cows, he would be a dry stock farmer.
