I can still hear my dear late Mom & Dad laughing whenever I watch it...and it's great to get lost in these episodes and escape from all that is going on in the world today...we sure need to laugh more! Anyway, the Mrs Claxton episode is a fave of mine. Even though not shown here, when the girls and Ma had to pick out the casket , that was a riot with Mr. Pfeiffer...or 'Puh-feiffer'....LOL 🤣...God bless the girls & all from the show who are now in Heaven...and *THANK YOU* for continuing to be our friends!❤
Here's a link to that scene at the 'puh-funera'l home...at least the first part of it...enjoy! 😊th-cam.com/video/ljfsN3UXv-0/w-d-xo.html

Yeah
and little details like half the kids in their neighborhood dressed up as Mrs Claxton for Halloween, and when that sweet little old lady backed up and kicked the coffin when she found out who it was 🤣
Mrs. Claxton is by far the worst neighbor they had because she was the neighborhood witch. My question is, how did she get Mr. Claxton to marry her?
That is not something to be discussed in polite company 🥴
love potion #9
Well, maybe she was REALLY a witch, lol! That might explain it, lol! And she buried him in the backyard, lol!
Witchcraft
Anyone else notice Betty White briefly break character and laugh when Sophia said “ Thankyou for bringing it to everyone’s attention” the sitting on the rug scene when detective Bobby gets shot?😂😂😂
Is that George Cloony as the young detective in the last sketch?
Yes😊
Yes it is.
18:49 “because your handbag don’t match your shoes”😂😂😂😂

I always wondered how MRS. Claxton managed to snag a Mr. Claxton. 😂
Me too, actually. She wasn’t a very nice lady.
..and here I can’t even get a call back 😋
@@giajohn09 I swear! 😂
Could have been an arranged marriage.
Yeah. How on earth was Frieda Claxton able to find a husband?
I could watch this episode over & over & It's always funny.
08:27 Sweet innocent Rose Nylund killed a lady. OH MY. Even Sue-Ann Nivens never did that. hahaha
Betty White -- 99 years of greatness.
Would have been Betty White would have been a hundred years old if she was still living cuz she died a day before her birthday her 100th birthday she had a stroke and died in her sleep.🎂🎂❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯🙏🏼🙏🏼😇😇💐💐🎉🎉🎊🎊💯💯💯💚😇😇😇😇
@@monicamariamclean2198 She passed on December 31, 2021 and her birthday was January 17th. It makes me sad and angry to this day that she wasn't given just two more weeks to get to that amazing milestone, but God had other plans and at least she got to see her beloved husband again...
Didn't Rose unintentionally kill 3 people throughout the show? Her husband Charlie, Mrs Claxton and the guy she dated in "A Bed Of Roses" episode?
Watching this was a nice pick-me-up. The comedy on this series is so next level.
"Blanche, orator means speaker!"
I never realized how dirty that joke was until recently. 😆
Lol 😂
The "Frieda Claxton" edisode is a real classic and something to remember....

It's so good to watch the golden girls. Used to love it when I was younger. Love it more now that I'm older and connect with them.
80s baby here, one of the shows on our 2 channels I actually enjoyed.
In my young days, this was one of the best comedy show.
