I agree with him. Jedward have really been brilliant for Ireland--nothing but positivity and fun, getting us temporarily away from the realities of the economic gloom. They were great at the Eurovision and great at the concert welcoming Obama.
Their music IS good anyway, its just that no-one gives them a chance anymore because they've been branded as two crazy, bubbly twins who can't sing. Go check out their new album Young Love, its actually so good!

Gabriel Byrne is brilliant, one of the few Irish celebrities I truly admire.
