I am in the middle of a very similar build and am really enjoying the process. This frame is well designed in my opinion and is a joy to work on. I've installed the FC/ESC, motors, LEDs. Next month will be the 03 air unit then receiver and GPS. I've had to build it in stages due to cost lol. Thank you for sharing your experience with this quad. I can't wait to get mine in the air. I've subbed your channel. Happy flying amigo. 🍻
I agree that anticipation is part of the fun! Today I ordered the receiver (RP4). So I could do some flight testing line of sight as early as Thursday. I hope you are able to fly tomorrow and that you produce a video! I'll set the notifications lol. The weather is bad here (Arizona USA) too this week. Snow and wind. I'll fly the OX7 (7" analog DIY build) between storms. Thanks for the reply. Happy flying amigo. 🍻
Thanks Gal, I think I saw it on your channel ages ago ;) but I was really surprised by this little drone. Maybe I was just easy to impress since I didn't fly for a while ;) greets, Mario
your soldering skills my friend, I cringed when I saw your FC. But as long as it works. let's go. And thanks for the review, a friend of mine wanted to get this frame and now he can see how it looks like in the inside.
hehe, yea I know. It's better now that I've learned a bit about soldering but still not my fav thing to do ;) The battery lead was a bit ugly. but motor wires and FC connections are not bad imho ;) The frame is not bad. It's a but of a hassle to get all the cables to stay when screwing the halfs together - but it's ok.
@RCSchim I want to build this using SpeedyBee F7 V3 BL32 50A 30x30 Stack and HD unit other than O3 for freestyle fpv. What Camera and vtx would you recommend? Also, do you think 5 blade props will help reduce noise?
Oh I answered my own question by looking at your channel page. Austria ( that was my guess). Absolutely beautiful there. I've never visited but it sure looks nice. Happy flying amigo. 🍻
yes, yes ;) it's not so high after all by our terms tho :) but yet on this cloudy cold day, we spotted one paraglider there (luckily he had no thermics so he wasnt in the airspace there long)
Awesome flying and review, Mario! 😃
Looks like a pretty fun quad!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks Mario! Have a nice weekend!

It's good to have something to look forward too;)
All the best for your first flights!
If weather permits I'll be flying tomorrow again;)

Very cool, LEDs have come such a long way.. Cool review! Enjoy the Breeze...👍🏻🍻👊🏻
i really like SpeedyBee at the moment. Really nice Electronics and the Led make a nice touch to it.
yes, their innovations and pricing are nice. Love the convenience factor of such things!
Same here love how it looks and have to buy everything in stages
Nice build and great flight footage Mario 🍻

Great build. Your flying and filming skills are terrific too. You fly in some REALLY beautiful areas. What part of the world are you located?
