    Good onya for talking so politely to the hiker ... good manners don't cost anything. Great vid, that motor is a beast

    Shout out from Sydney, Australia! It has been great to see the development of your pitch. Keep up the great content!

  • @pierreda

    This is so cool. i have followed the specialised pitch upgrades and this is the least of what i was expecting to happen next. I have a basic hard tail like your specialised pitch and have done similar upgrades to it through your tutorials, and i have been thinking about making my other bike (a fat bike ) electric so this is so cool to see

      Thanks Man, I am planning to remove this motor off of my pitch and transfer it to my Jamis Portal, I realized that the pitch is a good week end ripper .

    Tip chuck a spare chain in the back pack, An few chain tools, I've had a chain snap an if I never had spare chain on me I'd be paying money I ain't got on taxi back home, lol, I even bought spare tires oh an spare brake pads, I'm all equipmented up you could say, I'm going out on a new year day ride now its not raining here in the UK, I just put a bafang on my bike, But I plan on building a downhill hill frame up, Buy all the parts over space of few months an do the build when all there, It does summit to the head converting your bike, Look back an damn I'm proud of my work, lol, But yeah I'm doing a cyc on my next build...
    Yeah wear a full face helmet bro, I've come off an was glad I had a full face mtb helmet.....
    Yeah this cyc will fit on the full suspension bike, You can tuck it up over the bottom bracket with the bracket, lol.....
    Good vid tho bro.....

    I got a idea for you remove the back cassette and put it on the other side and add another crank on the side too so you can turn the other side into the motor and you can switch gears while one crank will be charging your battery (:

    Have you considered using "Bottle Bobs" to secure the battery to the crossbar of your MTB?

  • @NATO-SOCOM
    @NATO-SOCOM 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Yes your right, it’s definitely not a good idea to change gears wile the motor is sending power through the drivetrain because yes you will break your chain that way, or if the chain doesn’t break its still very hard on the components. You should have a brake cutoff sensor, just lightly squeeze the brake and that will cut power from the motor wile you shift

    • @greedyg76
      @greedyg76 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Since the Stealth uses a torque sensor you just need to back off the pressure on the pedals as you shift and the motor power will be reduced at the same time. Isn't this how we should be shifting even with out an electric conversion.... ✌

  • @thinhle3738
    @thinhle3738 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    does this kit come with a shift sensor? that should cut power to the motor when you are shifting

  • @CRM08
    @CRM08 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    • @Albertcortes66
      @Albertcortes66 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Shift sensor. It shuts the motor off every time you shift so it won't put that power your gears.

    • @Chapter710

      @@Albertcortes66 is that useable with the kit?

    • @Albertcortes66
      @Albertcortes66 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Chapter710 I would guess yes with all the different upgrades they did, it's better than a motor kit but the battery is the start of the show

    bit smaller bit more whinny bbshd but with torque sensor basically... Wonder if it heat up faster then bbshd on big mountain hill.. its in the gearing but small motor may heat up faster. typically cyc had cyclone 3000w that you cant put more then 1500w continuous into without overheat so not true 3000w more like peak idk if same for this peak 1500w but 900w max continuous.

    • @MCMTB

      I still like my regular bikes, Ebikes are heavier,

    • @Hybrid600
      @Hybrid600 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@MCMTB the weight of the e-bike disappears when you have all that power especially on flats and steep hills. What I love about e-bikes is it will climb real steep hills that would normally leave an analog rider way behind cause they have to get off and walk up.
