Buckventures producer/editor, Cole Cannon, has struggled in Kansas the past several years. With many close calls & great encounters, he's never been able to close the deal. The same held true this season as he saw a ton of great bucks but had nothing to show for it. Finally, on December 22nd, he gets the opportunity he's been hoping for on a brand new farm.

Love the video and story but it still blows my mind that 50 counts as a cold front I live in the center of Ohio during fall you can’t go out in the morning without a winter jacket😂

I can’t remember the video exactly but I think the 50° cold front was during the middle of September which we don’t see often! It’s typically in the 70-80s that time of year

a booner refers to a Boone & Crockett whitetail which is one that scores 170" or more!
