Hello, the most important thing of all is the configuration of the trigger angle, the initial ignition advance and the functional spark table, precisely what can ruin everything else. It would be interesting if you made a video about them.
It's running pretty good! Definitely could use the touch of an experienced tuner, but it's definitely drivable and I don't have any reservations about taking it into boost or anything.
Hi. 90 mustang - 5.0. Stock. Setting timing under the timing setting. I am not sure about trigger angle? Can't I just set the fixed timing on the MS2 to 10 degrees and go outside the car and using a timing light, adjust the distributor to 10 degrees?
and we do this with no simple or PID AFR/EGO control on, correct? We do any autotune or street tuning with "no corrections?" second question: should we be in open loop idle for first drive? Or get the closed-loop idle down?
Hey I seem to be having the exact same issue regarding my coil packs. Where coil A fires at the correct rate and B fires at half and so on. Can you recall the issue and or solution you had here. I know it’s a 3 year old video but anything would be appreciated.
I don't remember the exact cause but just make sure your wiring is correct. Depending on your coil, ensure you have sensor ground, signal, power, and possibly chassis ground hooked up to the correct pins. I swapped my wiring around on the latest build and it was causing weird spark behavior, but now that it's correct everything seems fine.
What do I do about my O2 sensor and my air fuel ratio gauge I have an autometer air fuel ratio gauge I guess the downpipe needs to have the b u n g for that right if you could send me the info for the closest to fitting downpipe that I could get and I'll go ahead and get it
@@TheZGarage then I can just use my autometer AFR the currently not air fuel ratio gauge is hooked up to my O2 sensor is that what I'm still going to do is put an O2 sensor in the downpipe and hook up the AFR to it still
@@TheZGarage what wideband sensor do you have and I have a autometer AFR gauge it does not have digital numbers it just has a sweep light up gauge all the way around it lights up green yellow and orange and read or something like that it is autometer it just doesn't have the numbers it just shows the lights I don't really know if I like that I might get me another little Gage that has actual numbers but what temperature do I need and that will take the place of the O2 sensor or what so I need to find my downpipe ASAP and order it and by the way I put 1 and 1/2 inch bolt on wheel spacers and I did not pinch pennies I paid like a hundred and something dollars for these and they were for a 300ZX they had Centric ring they're really nice and they have the factory size thread pitch 12 + 1.25 but they are 1 and 1/2 in thick I have these Mustang style American racing wheels and it gave me perfect fitment I can't wait to put my coilovers on and I'm going to have perfect stance and fitment
@@TheZGarage I can go a little cheaper than that right and like I said I have an auto meter AFR gauge it has the lights that go around and show whether it lean or Rich it says lean stoich and Rich it just doesn't have a digital readout number-wise it just shows lean or rich but I don't have to get the glowshift I'm sure I can run a cheaper one right for now anyways until I get the car built then later on I can Slowly by things one at a time and upgrade as necessary
Best mega squirt video on the internet, thank you for giving me the confidence to keep trying to get it up and running ;)
That's great to hear! Definitely ask any questions if you have them!

Yes I would love to see that video!
Good overview on this type of set up good job. So how is everything run in the Z

I'm having a hard time connecting with the ECU and the ac comes on with the ac idle up feature, and it's very hard to start, any help would be nice
Hi do you need the paid version to do the output test modes? I am trying to test my injectors on MS2 and I keep getting burn page 3 fail error message
Hi, what bencin you use re85alcohol or 98
I want to ask do I need special cable to conect that program to my car ecu?
It's a USB type b cable. The same kind as a printer, looks like a square with two cropped edges.
@@TheZGarage but that meen this will be only for after market ecu? Will you know what program I can use for bmw ms42 and ms43 orginal ecu?
Ah yes this is only for megasquirt and microsquirt ecu's. I'm not quite sure what would be best for bmw's

You you know if I add a Bluetooth to use a tablet to display my ms2, can I switch maps from the tablet?
How to remove speed limiter using this
Volvo 240 with microsquirt on it. Struggling
What software are you using?
no way youre serious
great video i am going to copy your afr table

You're going to need to get a wideband sensor. Then any downpipe with a bung should fit just fine

I have the glowshift wideband. I have an install video on it. I highly recommend a wideband sensor so you know exactly how it's running
