Can I ask why you didn’t use a paint stripper chemical, to more easily get the blue paint off, rather than sanding?

I did buy aircraft paint stripper to try, but I think I remember there being some reason that we couldn't use it. I'm sure it is an option!

What grit sandpaper did you use?

We used 3 different grits: 80/120/ 180. We used the heavier grits on the blue and the lighter grits on the white!
