the med/gun pouch rubs me wrong for the same reasons you address
I think that the “First Aid” bag would be more for a hide in plain sight type of EDC. - Inmates had a saying, “hide it from the man, hold it in your hand”. They’d keep their weed in their closed hand why your were patting them down 😂
Nothing like asking someone to grab the med kit from your vehicle, and they bring back a firearm 😂

I got that one from an SO around 2012ish. Not sure if you know THANOS Smith-Brown, but he was my Airman once upon a time. He was a super smart kid and a real hard worker. He earned himself a spot at OCS and got picked up for a flying slot. He ended up at Creech flying MQ-9s. It's a real small Air Force!

The glasses remind me of the gargoyles sun glasses popular around the time you enlisted lol, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess you had a pair or two lol. That woodland tape is actually hockey stick grip tape so it would work great on knife handles etc, I use it for that and it works great but mine is black not the way cooler m81 lol.
it's almost like the Gerber was thrown in at the last minute. the pouch is odd...if someone sees it in an emergency, and not finding medical supplies could be the difference. the rest are solid..even the Olight knockoff. overall a "meh" to fair box...B-

I was all prepared for you to completely trash the "med kit" . But instead I got a nice review of what a war crime is. Not disappointed, lol.
I think that i could actually use such a "medic" pouch. I don't really care about the moral implications for this, but this could mean the difference between having a dangerous item stolen or not.
Hey doc I am searching for a gerber I am looking at the paraframe or mp600 could you give a rekemendation
what you are asking is for two completely different things. the paraframe is a knife (which my recommendation would be to buy any knife and i mean almost ANY knife other than a gerber), and the mp600 is a multi-tool (i actually do recommend gerber multi-tools to people). Gerber knives are always SEVERELY overpriced and for what you spend on one you can get a much better product for the same price or less from another manufacturer. Gerber multi-tools are great though, competitively priced, in fact sometimes much cheaper than the competition, and they stand the test of time, i have a gerber suspension that i have carried for more than 10 years and it is great. i would suggest the gerber center drive instead of the mp600 though

The Para frame is really a terrible knife. I have seen very few that didn't come out of the package off center. The steel isn't great, and I have heard the clip break. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
I have great experiences with Gerber multitools. I still have one that I was issued in 1998 and besides two snapped tips on the knife and saw - which is all the fault of a dumb 20 year soldier old using them screwdrivers and prybars - it's still in 100% usable condition.
The 600 is pretty good but I'm. Not a fan of the weird saw thing they put on it.
If your choice is one of the other 100% go with the 600.

WOW.... REALLY disappointing this month. the cyclops headlamp is FOR SURE a cheap copy of the olight perun and/or perun 2, seems kind of in the middle in size to the perun 2 and perun2 mini. but the olight version perun 2 is 2500 lumens and perun2 mini is 1100 lumens, and the mini also has a red light option. there is honestly not one single thing in this box that i personally would like to have or would ever use. barrel & blade overall is usually a GREAT box but every once in a while they just have a MISS, and i think this month was the MISS.
The glasses look like geezer goggles. Saturday Night Liberals hasn't been funny in years.
