What a beautiful lightbar! As much as I love LED lights, there is just something special about the old stuff like this... I have one in my collection, without the stingrays of course...
I just found this video while perusing the site, and it's really cool to see another one just like the one I put together. I put my red domes with clear front bullseye cutouts over the Stingrays for extra pop.
I put this one together too. Since then, I've seen a lot more Stingray bars pop-up. I guess as LPs become more collectible (vs dime a dozen cheap) the cooler features are popping up more in the collector community. Similar to what's happened w StreetHawks and DynaRays.
@@JohCraLights I think you're entirely correct about that. A lot of these cool features that were pretty rare back in the day are fortunately becoming more prevalent with the increased interest in the hobby. Unfortunately, that also drives up prices, but at least people aren't throwing them away as much anymore.

I always LOVED these bars!
Me to, my late dad was a Firefighter & he had this exact same Lightbar on his own Personal Fire Vehicle.
How can there be an unlike/thumbs down ?
It's a perfect video. It's a lightbar with only a few options.

What is the purpose of the tiny dividers or mirrors beside the Stingrays?
If for reflecting light, they don't accomplish much. If not for reflecting light, then I don't know.
@@JohCraLights They are situated so closely and don't appear to be providing any mirrored effect.
I'm looking for one of these with blue covers or filters
This lightbar was much better and more affordable than the Junksonic.
