  • With this ONE tip you can vastly improve the sound quality of your home cinema projector. It's a very simple solution and one that I recommend EVERY TIME I review a projector.
    I have this speaker system with sub-woofer in my living room actually (pictured in video) and used it for over the past 3 years with my projectors: amzn.to/2VFq6NM (affiliate)

      No problem! I would say typically place it in the front by the screen more and that will be more natural than the speaker being right next to you.

    Hi there ,wondering if you know the reason for this. I bought a wiminus projecter with built in bluetooth. 'I have connected a bluetooth logitech box to my 5.1 surround system. I connected the Logitech box to my reciever (vsx 920 pioneer) first and connected my phone and tested music with spotify. Although they say bluetooth has only 2 channels and can not do 5.1. I find that the sound comes through my 5.1 surround system very loud. But when l connected my projector and played a movie, and I put projector volume on full my iptv mi box on full volume and my pioneeer on full volume ,but it was only 50% as loud ,compared to connecting my phone with Spotify. It is enough for a movie but still want it to be louder. Where is the problem. The projector has 5.1 bluetooth, but there is no audio settings in the projector menu. Any ideas how i can increase volume.

      Candid Tech TV so I ended up getting the Vankyo 510 I mounted it but my question is when I turn it off it’s a two button click and it’s off but do I have to turn it off in the back to or do I leave it switched to on or do I have to double click the front to turn it off and flip that switch in the back

    • @CandidTechTV
      @CandidTechTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would be fine with leaving that switch on but just in "stand-by" mode essentially with just using the top button/remote. That way it's always ready to go. If you're not going to use it for a while you can always turn the switch off on the back to completely kill the power to it but if you're going to use it almost daily, I would just leave it on. The Vankyo 510 is nice, hope you enjoy it!

    My onn projector I bought from Walmart for 130 has no audio jack so I have to use the Roku that came with it and Bluetooth my phone audio but it’s still delayed their words on the tv are behind or ahead of the actual audio track.

    • @CandidTechTV

      Hmm with Bluetooth 5.0 there usually isn't (noticeable) lag usually so I wonder if either your phone or that Roku is Bluetooth 4.0 maybe and causing some lag issues

      I also reviewed it on my other channel here: th-cam.com/video/9MbR31wgsN4/w-d-xo.html
      You would just hook it up by an aux cable to the aux in on the speaker and headphone jack on the projector if you have one. Otherwise you can use a bluetooth transmitter to pair to this speaker for a wireless setup.

  • @justinhenderson4741

    I bought a 50$ projector from a dollar store. It’s been great for the price, however, there’s no aux there’s no headphone jack or rca jack and its not Bluetooth. The speakers are terrible. I’ve been pondering maybe soldering and installing a headphone jack into the unit. Do you have any better suggestions???

    • @CandidTechTV
      @CandidTechTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey, no I think that sounds like a solid option if that's something you're capable of! Otherwise there are some projectors now around $100 that do have all those connections and are native 720p like the xiaoya W5 (amzn.to/3e2atW9)

  • @michaelmanor1460

    What would you suggest to have my Samsung bar connected via Bluetooth without lag?

    • @CandidTechTV
      @CandidTechTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Anything wireless is going to have some lag but it depends on how much it will bother you. You can make sure any BT transmitter you get has BT 5.0 or above to be more current, but if you want no lag an aux cable hooked up between the two would be best.

  • @MsTwinktwink
    @MsTwinktwink 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    I bought a speaker and projector.
    I’ve connected it through aux.
    My Speaker is really loud by themselves. when I connect speakers to my phone, the sound is loud so I know it’s not the speaker.
    But When I connect the speaker to the projector through an aux cord, the sound is REALLY low.
    The projector does not get louder which stops my speaker to get loud. I have the speaker to max high and the sound is still VERY low.
    How can I make my sound louder without having to buy other speakers? Is there any extra adapter to make the projector sound louder?

    • @CandidTechTV
      @CandidTechTV  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey so if you don't have another speaker to use you can try something like this: amzn.to/3daB0kc
      Some having issues in forums have mentioned this works. Sounds like your projector isn't supplying enough power on its own to the speaker(s).

    The projector has a speaker at the back albeit its exactly as you say. Its good just always on 100% and you wish you had a good 30% bump in volume. If you use the AUX jack or headphones then obviously the projector sound will be muted, correct ? So that means whatever sound you hook up it needs to probably be 30% better than the projector sound to be worth it. Typically front and back speakers would be best or strong ones up front anyway.
