Well it's only 220mmm belt armor, and ammo is at the water line, so Kron exploded as it should. Unless you angle that thing...

Krons strength has always been the "Oh shit" moment the enemy has when you see her.
But an unangled Kron CAN be killed by 8 inch AP and larger in one tap.

I enjoy blowing up big ships with small boats and planes, too. Definitely one of, if not the most satisfying experience in WT.

Oh, don’t worry Dolllar, the server crashes are my fault. Every time I throw on a 200%+ SL booster in naval, it’s pretty much a guaranteed server crash and wasted booster. 😭
Actually I had 150% booster activated 😂 but I didn't lose it after DC, so that's good
Wish we had cold-war era combined naval + air EC... and give air players the ability to spawn AI squad mates so that you could actually have small squadrons instead of random solo players flying around.
Like separate cold war era EC would be nice in the future, since we're getting more and more missile ships

A lot of it is network traffic and latency. Gaijin's server farms are run by AWS. Mebe they aren't aren't paying to get thruput priority, IDK but my:

That opening was great, and reminded me of something. One of the US battleships, I forget which, was used as a test target for nukes. I know it was hit once, possibly twice, and didn't sink. They ended up having an entire battlegroup bombard it for HOURS before it finally sank.

I am enjoying naval lately. I'm currently at 5.7 Germany but I only have the light cruisers. I'm researching the Admiral Graf Spee and I'm enjoying this mode a lot but the amount of premium ships is infuriatingly high. 150mm guns can cut through armour but not that easily but every premium heavy cruiser can cut through me :(
Do you have any tips for this BR?
I think Admiral Hipper is better 5.7 German heavy cruiser than Graf Spee. Really great guns and decent armor. Honestly I haven't played with German light cruises(yet) so I'm not sure what to suggest.
BR compression is a big issue in naval

@@zuzzolo3959 It’s just that the 5.7 German light cruisers are really squishy. You just have to deal with it. It also doesn’t help that most of the premium cruisers are used by the botting scripts, which have insane accuracy through 3rd party aimbots.
IMO Spee is slightly better than Hipper, as Hipper has a VERY exposed ammo rack, and not very thick armor around the ammo racks. If you’re already halfway to the Spee, just get her first, and get the Hipper after that. Or you can just grind straight for the Scharnhorst, which is THE best ship in the game right now, and will make the rest of the German navy grind a breeze.
Graff spee while amazing.... is more of a skill based ship.
While powerfully armed the reload of the main guns needs to be managed and thus target priority and shell placement are the main factors to consider.
A ship like Eugen is the perfect trainer/grinder as she has a relatively fast reload for her calibre and gun weight and huts hard for her BR.
Spee is a sniper and cruiser hunter and can be super rewarding with the right skills

Sitting still in a battleship is all well and good when the enemy have easier targets to shoot at, but when you are the ONLY battleship on your team you ARE the easiest target to shoot

Sadly naval RP grind isn't that great. But it shouldn't be too bad compared to GRB. Just be sure to check out all the channels Dollar mentioned. You'll have a lot of learning to do.
I'm happy to hear it mate 🫡. RP grind is the best, but you also have fewer vehicles to research than other branches. I would say the blue water grind isn't that terrible, but coastal higher tiers... painful and slow grind.
