Nice job. I'm sure I've cut slabs with same stance, but some say stand to the side for safety, but then harder to get the cut line vertical, which could also be a danger to snagging. Nice trick with the bag to catch the dust. Would a hose save the disk (make a mess of drive though). Can brace elbows on knees for heavy lift from the ground, but that does then stress the upper back. Could trolley them round. Look forward to the next one.

Looking excellent, top notch job. Really great job lads 👍 and Steve sir you don't look your age.
Still can't understand why you didn't do a higher fence on the right hand side?,
Oooooo did I hear you say decking? Looking forward to the video for that!
Keep up the good work gentlemen 👍💪

james swain . I bloody feel my age 🥵😂.
The customers wanted the 3 foot fence and he had decided to go for flags instead of decking . Neither of which we will be doing . They are 2 jobs we won’t tackle 😬🧱👍🏽

@@SteveAndAlexBuild for some reason I thought this was your house? I thought you said this was your house? Oh I got that wrong.
Why won't you do the flags? Your do a lovely job? And you didn't do the fencing? Again I thought you would/did especially as you got no site work at the moment?
When I finish my outbuilding and tackle my garden wall I hope I can make it look as nice or close to your fine looking brickwork.
      👍

Yeah, like your steps Steve & Al, simple design but solid and look the part to. Moved a few of those flags around my self and christ they're heavy, defo a 2 man lift. Suspect your using Marcrist discs or possibly Norton judging by the ease of cut on those monsters, always try for Marcrist my self, the best in my humble opinion. Looking good guys.

Bricklaying With Steve and Alex I always build them in as I can’t be bothered with the hassle of customers coming back, also I have had to rebed loads over the years where folk have cut a 2x2 in half and bedded them on, another pet hate of mine too is leaving voids under the flags because believe it or not I’ve had to repair broken flags where someone has dropped a pot onto the flag and left a hole

Bricklaying With Steve and Alex another thing I have done when rebedding slabs (flags) when bedded on top like that is cut slots along the hidden edge for the compo to get a grip of

Robert Pilkington . I don’t know if you’ve noticed but the clay isn’t the finished patio . There is hardcore and flags to go on yet 🙄
