Enjoy a bit of demolition work guys , Prep is the key and nice to see it all cleared up propper fashion. Your extension brickwork looks great Steve, Glad they never rendered it. Nice to get repeat customers which is obviously testament to the quality of your work. Keep it up guys.
I’ve been a bricky for 35years now loved every minute of it and I love your videos simply because to me you show the game as it really is ,no thrills no spills sometimes shitty weather but you always do it with a smile and pure hard graft '👏👏
@@SteveAndAlexBuild Yere lol you feel abit silly at first but you got to think stuff it haven't you. My customers think I have gone mad when I talk to my self 😂😂😂👍
Nice video lads, love hearing the commentary between you two, makes it very real and engaging. Also good to see the extension still looking like it’s just been done aswel 👍🏻 class
Hey Guys Loved the video, i know this might sound silly but that 6ft steel bar are a must wouldn't be with out mine handy old tool, loved the extension, the brick work was beautiful done, did i hear right Alex first job with you, have a great weekend all the best Tony
Build With A&E . Cheers Tony yeah that bar ! I wouldn’t be without it . As for the extension. It turned out really nice and I’m glad it wasn’t rendered with the rest of the house . Alex came with me to work to try it out for the first time on this job and I am so thankful he decided to come and work with “the old man”. Never looked back . Have a great weekend 🧱👍🏼
Hey Tony, my mrs says the same about me....I'm 6ft and made of steel 💪🏽😜. You both have fantastic channels and im happy to watch all day and great tips and how too's too.
I think it does you good to have a nice steady day as there isn’t the pressure of the weather or must get done we are booked somewhere else tomorrow. Considering the old wall was single skin with soldier top it’s lasted a good thirty years? Filming is class now nice and clear with good sound🧱💪🥰👍🎥
Ronnie Biggs . It’s such a nice change from tare arsing round on site under constant pressure . I d be surprised if anything we build today will last that long 😬😳😂. 2 years practice is finally paying off , glad you’ve noticed the difference in the videos, that means a lot , cheers
Tidy job and look forward to the rebuild. Extension was really neat. Hope Alex can treat himself to some boots - they are as comfortable as trainers if you get a good pair and good socks. Remember you only get one pair of feet. Look forward to the next one.
Great brick work on the extension looks a great feature/contrast to the render, keep the videos coming love watching you guys and picking up some ideas 😜
Gareth Shaw mmmm I did tell him to get them on ! But he said his boots were to uncomfortable 😬.A brand new pair have been purchased since we filmed this video and there won’t be any more trailers . 💪🏼🧱👍🏽. Cheers Gareth
@@SteveAndAlexBuild I've never had any toes amputated after being crushed by falling bricks, but I reckon that would be pretty uncomfortable too! If he's finding his boots uncomfortable then a) get boots that fit correctly, and b) wear thin liner socks like hikers wear, Bridgedale ones are really good. Will stop the boots rubbing against his feet
hi steve we were all young n thought we were invincible its not till we cut ourselves n break a bone lol that we start growing up,,,,remember you cant put a old head on young shoulders lol take care guys
Steve Alex must have had is weetabix that day he was a man posessed with those walls, great camera work as allways you really see right down to everything brilliant mate
Hi , silly question but do those hi viz T-shirts keep you cool in the summer as I think they get a couple thanks Mike , look forward to watching your videos each week keep up the good work👍👍
Looking forward too the next vid. Question, how high can you go with a single skin wall? Also, if you have time...I have a wall that I want to redo and continue along the front of my driveway. The wall runs for say 1.5m then stops with a fence continuing. My other question is, how do I go about continuing the wall as there will be the pavement were the fence is, no foundation if you get me..do I just dig that the pavement and make a small trench? Cheers guys.
That small extension would be roughly the size I’d need and want for my house, would you mind me asking a rough price for a simple one like that as I wouldn’t know what prices would range from
Just going through some old videos ste, have you been to the bottom of that road after you go through ormskirk to the B&Q at Southport? There’s the wonkiest house you’ll ever see on that road
I hate grinder's with a passion but what can you do you have to use them .I gave mine to my mate the day I threw the towel in .the most unpleasant experience I've ever had was watching a fella cut his throat with one . Two blades no guard that was 40 year's ago
Get that lad some safety boots...Adidas trainers don’t hack it...I’d like him to keep his toes...!...and a dust mask...silica dust is not good for lungs...
James Hamm it’s hardly a busy street in a town centre , people just crossed over and used the opposite pavement . The streets residents were less bothered than you !
