    Sorry about the red wording popping up during some of the clips, I had to run a demo of certain software to convert the file.
    Enjoy!

    Season 1 - 7 Simpson’s was incredibly written.

      True. Remember when homer trying to commit suicide was treated with an almost uncanny level of seriousness and realism? I remember, season 1, episode 3...
      Since it had become an overused joke :/

      @@Alystas Still has SOME jokes within it like Homer lumbering that big rock the whole way only to find one was already there, though that's the charm. Early Simpsons could be funny while still having a sense of earnestness about it. The characters didn't have to just be gag machines nor did they have to lose their sense of humour altogether, they were rounded.

    If that "high IQ" classroom was truly constructivist, they would have let Bart read his comic book. (;

      It is not that serious. That was probably supposed to be funny.

    The sad part is, "Ms. Melanist" sounds like she is voiced by the Ms. Krabappel voice actress :(
    Like an alternate reality, where she is enthused about her work.

      I think she kind is supposed to be. One where she finds fulfillment in her work, and she's young and still married.

      Do you mean the teacher in Bart The Genius?
      Because you're definitely right about her being voiced by Marcia Wallace.

    I like how by trying to encourage what they think constructivism is, they just breed a load of egotists. They look down on the new kid because he doesn't talk in fancy pretentious words or wear his high IQ on his sleeve like all of them in the class do. Even the whole scam itself only works through ego, since the psychologist refuses to even entertain the idea a ten year boy outsmarted him and assumes his desire to just do whatever he pleases is profound constructivism, instead of you know, like what ANY kid wants to do.
    It's a good episode, but given they get almost none of the class equations right in it (none of those were paradoxes and you won't get RDRR), it feels more like an average guy mocking smart people, all just being snobby pretentious assholes who have to be right about everything and lord their intellect over everyone else.
