I briefly owned a 2017 Renegade Altitude 4x4. I really wanted to like it, and I DID like it, when it was working right. It was fun to drive, and it was competent off road, but it was plagued by quality control issues from the get go. The HVAC system had to be replaced within a month, and the power steering randomly cut out while driving, which Chrysler could never figure out. Dashboard lights would randomly cut out and in, again to no consequence with the dealer. Then it started randomly dying. That was the last straw. I dumped it 2 years into the experience, just as the warranty expired due to mileage. I can see just in the first few shots of this one that the trim doesn't line up on the left rear door. I had hope that the mid-cycle refresh with the new drivetrain would right some of the wrongs, but I think that buying a Jeep - or anything - built by Fiat is a mistake. I hope Peugeot can exercise some of the demons out of these products. I really love Jeeps, but...I don't think I'll be buying one again, at least not until the Fiat designed models are put out to pasture.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed how come, looks like the dealer has a lot of inventory of new and previous generation Grand Cherokees, I saw from when you parked the vehicle

That was probably a lemon, surprised the factory didn't do a buyback for you.

Yeah, Jeep's aren't the most reliable, but if you can find one with a great warranty, that can help give you some piece of mind!
JEEP should make a pick up version of the Renegade so if can compete with the Ford Maverick.
