It's so frustrating that a lot of lolibrary measurements are complete bs like I've had a dress with an alleged 105cm bust that was wayyy too small and a meta dress with an 86cm bust that fits me because of the shirring. Kristen R I would say to look at the shirring and the material of the dress. If it’s fully shirred and cotton then it may stretch more than a fully shirred silk dress, know what I mean? Also, if it’s partially shirred it’s a trap lol also look at waist and shoulder measurements too because I see some dresses that are supposed to fit a 115cm bust but the shoulders be like 36cm and the waist be 88cm like 😣 who is that for?????

Yeah, there’s definitely ways to accommodate lolita while being tall! A lot of dresses have the ability to extend the straps so they can be a little longer, you can buy underskirts if a dress isn’t able to be extended, etc

I do have wide feet yea. I usually go a half size up for Bodyline shoes because of it. The tea-parties I get from amazon fit perfectly tho. The Bodyline shoes I wouldn’t try to walk for a long time with but the An*Tai*Na and Amazon shoes are perfect for all day wear.

Yes! I was able to get a fluffy white jacket for my misty sky coord and some awesome Lolita-ish blouses from Rainbow.

It's so frustrating that a lot of lolibrary measurements are complete bs like I've had a dress with an alleged 105cm bust that was wayyy too small and a meta dress with an 86cm bust that fits me because of the shirring. Do you have any advice on how to judge the size yourself? Thanks!
Kristen R I would say to look at the shirring and the material of the dress. If it’s fully shirred and cotton then it may stretch more than a fully shirred silk dress, know what I mean? Also, if it’s partially shirred it’s a trap lol also look at waist and shoulder measurements too because I see some dresses that are supposed to fit a 115cm bust but the shoulders be like 36cm and the waist be 88cm like 😣 who is that for?????

I’m 5’9 would Lolita dresses fit me. I’ve always wanted to try but I always see the small tiny gurls do it. I have large feet and I am tall so I wanted to know.
Yeah, there’s definitely ways to accommodate lolita while being tall! A lot of dresses have the ability to extend the straps so they can be a little longer, you can buy underskirts if a dress isn’t able to be extended, etc

Yea forsure. It has more room to stretch and you are only 2cm bigger than I so go for it! The long straps make it easier on the chest

I mistakenly ordered a dress I LOVE but didn't realize it's about 10cm too small for me. Any suggestions on a binder to bring me down about 4inches?
hi! i would suggest that instead of buying a binder, you could get the dress fixed by a tailor! trans guys need binders to help with dysphoria and buying one for fashion is taking away the opportunity for a trans guy to have it! binders are medical equipment and not for fashion!

I do have wide feet yea. I usually go a half size up for Bodyline shoes because of it. The tea-parties I get from amazon fit perfectly tho. The Bodyline shoes I wouldn’t try to walk for a long time with but the An*Tai*Na and Amazon shoes are perfect for all day wear.
